I wanted cute custom cocktail coasters, so I decided to make them. I got a custom stamp made, some coasters, ink, embossing powder and went to work:
Here is the finished product:
Cute right? The problem: I only did about 10 before I got tired. Only 190 more to go! I think I am crazy.
I am going to leave the supplies on the dining room table and do a few a day I think. I am in desparte need of girlfriends to help me. Why do all my bridemaids live in another state? Oh well!
Do you have any impossibly time consuming projects? How did you get through them?

Those are really cute! Do 10 per day and you are done in 2 weeks.

Those look great!
Have you tried them out? You want to make sure the ink won’t bleed after getting wet.
And I so felt like that with our Monograms for our invites.. I still have programs monograms to put together.. ugh!

Those are adorable! Good for you doing a DIY. I am not doing any impossibly time consuming projects b/c I’m lazy and not creative but I love to see what everyone else is doing 🙂

@Mrs. Meowerson: Its a quick melting powder used to create a raised look when stamping. You have to heat it up with a hot air embossing gun which bonds the powder to the surface. Its easier than it sounds, I swear. I went to a free stamping class and learned about it (I sound like such a nerd!).

Cute stamp! At least you got plenty of time should you decide to take a long hiatus in between sessions 😉

So cute…but agreed with a PP – have you made sure they wont run?

If it does bleed.. here’s a permament ink
thought the cobalt was close to the color you’re already using 😉

I got a custom ball jar stamp as well…. it looks like this:
