Our personal sized cheesecakes. We got everything for them on sale so for the 100 we made, we spent like $30. They were a hit with our guests and it was easy easier than having to get someone to cut a wedding cake.

I love candy and chocolate, so instead of having table numbers we named each table after a different chocolate bar. We put full-size chocolate bars (whatever the table name was) at each place setting. The guests loved it!!

The bathroom baskets. One of my guests got her period during the wedding, another had forgotten to bring extra pads, the stain remover wands were used, the clear nail polish, the bandaids, analgesics… They were super grateful and even the people who didn’t use anything loved them and complimented us on being so thoughtful.

We had our guests “autograph” baseballs for us in lieu of a traditional guest book.  People loved it & all we did was purchase nice pens [as my dad works at a place where he was able to get us brand new baseballs at no cost].

We had a picture wall with pictures of all of our guests. We made sure everyone was included. It was super fun to put together & see a visual of all the important people in our lives. Our guests loved looking at all the pictures and finding themselves!

We handwrote personalized notes to each guest and had them at their seats for the reception along with printed menus that had their names on them. So just the cost of paper and a pen. Some ppl said they cried, some tables all read their notes out loud. It was a surprise to everyone but us and our planner.

We had glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets for everybody to wear while dancing! We bought them in bulk on amazon for $70. We had about 180 people at our wedding and there was more than enough fo everybody!

My guests loved my bouquets and my DIY centerpieces. They kept asking who did them and etc. 5 plum bouquets were purchased from Tradesy.com for like $24…orginally $70 but I sold something on the site so I had a credit to use. My MIL turned the 5th bouquet into my bridal bouquet by combining it with a grey bouquet purchased from Hobby Lobby $15. So I got 5 bouquets for $39. DIY centerpieces were vases purchased in bulk from dollartree.com, I spent $48 plus tax. And the fillers were clear rocks and either grey or pulm rose petals, with plum and grey ribbon wrapped around the vases. I spent roughly $100 or less on theses centerpieces for 15 guests tables and our wedding party head table.

We had a destination wedding, and people really appreciated that we held several pre-events (a sight-seeing tour and a couple of meals) that we organised and paid for so guests could meet up, spend time with us, and also get to know other guests. Since they were not events with the ‘wedding’ tag and were arranged locally, they didn’t cost that much. But everyone raved about how well-organised we were, how they loved the events, etc., and many of our wedding guests who previously didn’t know one another seem to have made friends. Totally worth it and I’m very happy with how it all turned out.
