@spezia:  that sounds terrible! I would be seriously dismayed to see a friend about to be married make out with someone 🙁

@spezia:  I got married at 27, so I was pretty much past the going out and getting drunk age (at least for me and my friends, it’s something we never do) but my friends were insistant that we have a “night out” for once. I really think the most fun is had when you’re out doing something.

For me, I had two. One was small, and my girlfriends and I took our horses on a week long vacation to ride. Then, a few months later they planned a traditional party. We pre-gamed at a vacation rental house, went to dinner in a limo, came back and had a sex-toy party, and then went out dancing.

Two of my girlfriends are getting married, and both of them want to do long weekend trips to just get away. Rent a beach house and relax. I’m REALLY looking forward to that!!!

One of my favorite things is a scavenger hunt throughout the night.  As long as everyone is on board and particpating it can be really fun.  I did one around 24 or 25 I think that was a lot of fun, we did it in teams so I was with a good friend of mine.  We won because we have no shame.  We just basically went to dinner and then bar-hopped while doing the scavenger hunt.

I would just know the bride and know your audience (the other guests), that helps a lot when planning.

@spezia:  Mostly silly things like find the oldest man at the bar to dance with, use the men’s restroom, find someone to buy you a shot, get a condom from a man, fake an orgasm around a bunch of people, etc.  We did ours in teams and you had to take pictures.

@spezia:  It definitely wasn’t salesy at all, at least our consultant wasn’t. I been to 3 parties by her and she’s always great. She goes through and does the “talk” portion, but really all it is is showing you the different items and talking about the different lotions and what you’d use them for (different things for differ activities…lol). Then, she goes into a seperate room and you go in one at a time to place your order if you want to. We had plenty of people at all the different parties who opted not to order anything – or only ordered a lotion or something. She does a couple of funny games, and usually there are drinks involved so it’s mostly just us getting a little rowdy and joking around. Even our shyest and most modest friends let a little loose and have fun.

@spezia:  favorite ever – weekend in Vegas. We went to fancy dinners, went dancing, shopped, saw a Cirque du Soleil show, and just had a lot of girl bonding time. so much fun! We partied and relaxed, no strippers needed.

Mine will be in NYC. There will be a nice dinner and drinking and dancing and brunch. I will never get too old for this, it just happens less often (my friends and I are in our thirties).

I feel very lame now… haha. The best bachelorette I’ve ever been to was bowling, laser tag, and bumper cars. I’m not super into drinking, though

My favourite was at my bachelorette party, we went to a baseball game in the afternoon and got pretty tipsy, it was the most fun I’ve ever had a baseball game – we even got on the jumbotron!

We also went paintballing on the Friday night before my bachelorette party as part of the bachelorette festivities – so fun!!
