Was not sure what board to put this under. Anyways, I am wondering if you filed a claim with a seller on Etsy – How did Etsy handle it, what was the result, etc?
I have bought from two sellers on etsy. One was for flower hair pieces for my flower girls and my self. The first one was fabulous, let me know what was going on with my order at all times and was very quick!
The second purchase was accessories for my bridal party. I have not been too thrilled with this. I did not realize sellers put in notes with the sale, so I originally did not see that it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. I contacted her about 3 weeks later for status and was told she was waiting for some of the items she needed to make my accessories. Heard nothing, and at week 9 I contacted her. Said she has part of my order done but could not get to the other part as she has had a recent diagnosis and is very ill, asked for another week. A week and some days go by and I file a claim on the 74th day to protect myself. I also message her and let her know I was doing this. She again asks for one more week and says her illness has kept her behind, as well as stated that she is using her energy for brides who have closer weddings. I’m not expecting much with this week, but I have not heard anything from the Etsy side either.
I’m just curious to see after filing a claim if you got the result you wanted or things just got worse?
