First we picked up my best friend from the airport and got breakfast. Then we went for pedicures. Then we ate lunch at a really nice lakeside restaurant. After lunch we went for manicures. Then we went back to my bridesmaid’s house, had a few drinks, and waited for my maid of honor to get home from the airport. Once she got there we all went out to a bar and did karaoke. It was a lot of fun!

We had a really short engagement, but my sister managed to plan an awesome bachelorette (hen) party- we hired out a huge barn conversion in the countryside and she organised for beauticians to come and give us massages and treatments 🙂 Lots of nibbles, games and bubbly! Cost us about £100/$150

barrogten:  I had two.

One about 6 months before (as my oldest and closest friend was moving to Australia and we wanted one with her involved), which was 3 nights in a cabin in a forest (complete with all mod-cons like underfloor heating and a hot-tub of course!) and pretty low-key; went out for dinner one night and chilled in the cabin/hot tub the other two nights (did get through a crap-ton of wine and prosecco though lol).

The second was 2 weeks before the wedding and there were 14 of us for dinner, then 12 of us went on to a cocktail bar and then a club. We all dressed up nicely and had some tacky sashes for a bit of fun 🙂

We did two nights in Banff.  The first night was the bar night…We went for a nice dinner, and then went to the bar.  I was up all night puking, and completely hungover the next day so it was hard for me to enjoy it.  We just ordered pizza, and wandered around the town, and then I think we played some games at night too.  But of course we all had a blast!

barrogten:  We went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and then got a private karaoke room at a bar and opened presents there and sang all night.

When I was dropped off at home, the guys were about to go for a midnight breakfast, so I joined them.

We had the party at a locak park shelter, where we ate and played a couple games. Then, we did the main  thing – which was a painting party. After that was done, we hung out at the shelter for a little bit longer and just went to a bar in town for some more drinks.

I wanted something low-key where I could just hang out with my friends – and didn’t need to do a party bus around town to various bars, etc. Everyone had a great time.

My friends dressed me up as “Ginger Spice”, and they were the other 4 girls. We spent the night in Hollywood and had dinner, drinks, and went to a male dance revue thing. Was fun! Here is a pic, sporty spice was taking the picture, though.

We went to a beach town and stayed 3 nights in a condo there. We went to the beach, did day drinking, went out at night, etc. It was a lot of fun!
