I can't really pick a favorite part! I think maybe the invitations. They are so pretty! But more importantly, it meant I'm getting closer. I look forward to sending them out and checking the mail. Although I'm nervous about that part too! The other thing that I love, although its really not related to planning is whenever someone tells me they've booked a room already, I get soooo excited!
I guess I would say the invites. I was SUPER excited once I was able to send them out and start receiving the RSVPs because it felt more real.
I am looking forward to the invites as well. I think I'm going to DIY the invites entirely!
My husband's suit! He had to try on a few before we chose, and he was so handsome! :)
My favorite part was dress shopping!! Then in a close second, I would choose designing our cake and picking out flavors! YUM!
I loved dress shopping! So much fun, but my fav was cake tasting!!!! I must have tried 20 different flavors!
My favorite was doing the invitations! They were a pain in the butt, but they turned out so well and I agree with the other bees - getting the RSVPs is so exciting because it means it is REALLY getting down to it!! :)
Flowers, I learned names, loved the different options and I knew what I wanted to it was easy and so pretty to be around all those great flowers.
@Roxy I'm with you! Our honeymoon is what I'm looking forward to the most. I was definatley more excited booking that than anything else. Don't get me wrong-I'm excited about the wedding, but I'm even more excited about our 7 days in St. Thomas. Romance, relaxing, good food and drinks..and the BEACH!
Besides booking the honeymoon, my fave thing was the food tasting last week. Loved sitting in the little, private room and sampling all the foods. Yum! It was loads of fun. Loved the cake tasting too!
So for the cake and it was like the first thing I secured. I email my baker like every week changing designs on the different tiers...haha I don't know why but I just love wedding cakes!
I'm with pinot, the cake tastings were fantastic, so were the invitations, and the dress!!!
I think that finding inspiration is what's most fun for me so far. I've gathered so many photos that it's not even funny. My second favorite is planning the food (candy buffet, cake, and dinner... yummy!).
I absolutely loved putting together the welcome baskets (seriously!), and I had more fun than I expected planning the music. I was lucky to have a friend and her brother playing the cello and guitar, and we just got together one night and pulled out all of our favorite CDs to create the playlist -- it was great, and it was even relaxing!
I have to say planning my own wedding has been nothing but stress, the only thing I really enjoyed was going with my girls to pick out their dresses. I much prefer helping other people plan their weddings and watching the joy on their faces.

What part of your wedding has been your favorite part to plan? My favorite part was dress shopping, but it was over so quickly. I miss it!
