I got some really cool Christmas presents this year, but my absolute favourite was the wobmat that my FI "adopted" for me from the WWF. I got a plushie wombat, a wombat fact sheet, a picture of a wombat and a certificate of adoption! I love him!
So tell me, what was your favourite present this year?
my favorite present was my laptop DH bought me!
I also got an awesome pair of boots
Some perfume Ive been wanting forever and a beautiful handmade scarf my bought me while in South America!
New set of pots and pans!
I'm SO excited about the autographed explodingdog print my husband bought me! I can't wait to put it up!

A whole new bed set, matching window curtains, and all new gourmet cookware including copper pot (my obsession) and gigantic wok. I'm in love.
Our new RED Wii along with Just Dance 2 and Zumba! My parents got it for us. So much fun already!
I've only gotten one so far (my family doing Christmas after New Years to accomodate everyone's schedule and FI and I do it after school money comes in), but I can already tell you it was the best. My mom paid to get my car fixed and some extra bills that were hard to handle this month- lets just say it was over a grand. The amount of money isn't what makes it the best, its the fact I won't be stressing out majorly this month. Peace of mind is the best gift anyone could give. I told her it would count for Christmases and birthdays for Mister and me for the next five years!
I have a few favorites.
Pandora bracelet, white watch, eletric fireplace, microwave & a digital picture frame!
BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!
My parents got me an Amazon Kindle, which I am totally addicted to already.
FI got us three-day passes for the Ottawa Capital Hoedown, which is a huge country concert in Ottawa. It will be 2 weeks before our wedding. I love country music, and some of my favourite bands will be there. Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, and Reba, here we come!
@FutureMrsTimmins: ah dh got me a kindle too!!! what kind of case are you getting?!! i just posted about that haha!
thats my fave! oh and my new steam mop! :)
iPad...! This has been a great Christmas though everyone was so good to us when we couldn't be to them. I feel blessed to be a part of both families. :)
My mom and dad got me the red carpet manicure set. Its an at home gel polish kit. I LOVE gel polish but can't afford the $30 every 2 weeks, now I can have it any time for much cheaper!
SO got me the cake stand to the dishware set I am collecting! It is a retired set from Mary Engelbreit so we must get everything via ebay or other places. I have only ever seen the cake stand 2 times since i started collecting 3 years ago! AHHHHH I'm in love!:

I could go on and on but these are my 2 favorites!
FI got me a new night gown and the Dance Workout Wii game. His mom got me a tshirt and a tank.
We will do Christmas with my kids in 2 weeks when we have our bbq and bonfire to celebrate the new year. So we shall see what happens then. FI and I will really exchange our gifts with the taxes in a couple weeks.
However I am not totally stressed about it as our wedding is in 90 days. Have to put money into that instead, and it will be more of a memory.
A cake decorating kit and two cupcake decorating books. I love to cook and bake but I always moan to SO about how I don't really know how to decorate, so he got me stuff so I can learn how to decorate better!
He also got me four cupcake pans. Four. They were came in a two-pack and "they were on sale buy-on get-one half price so I had to get two! And plus you don't have one yet so you really need them, right?" He was so excited about his gift that I couldn't bring myself to say that I do already have a cupcake pan so I just said "yaaaaah, so now I can cook a ton of cupcakes at once!" I also have a mini cupcake pan, a big cupcake pan, and a giant cupcake pan, ha!
I'm so excited to try all the cute decorating ideas that I just might need to bake 48 cupcakes at once. =D
The sweater I bought for myself. Man, DH just sucks so bad in the gift giving department. He didn't get the bracelet he was making for me finished so, again (yes he has done this three years in a row), he goes out and gets me gifts at CVS pharmacy. At least this time he waited til Christmas MORNING to pick thing up *palm face*.
My favourite gift would have to be the necklace that FI got for me to wear in the wedding. He really outdid himself this year on other things as well, but the necklace tops the list just for the sentimental value.
@FutureMrsTimmins: I am so pumped for Capital Hoedown this year! I've even pursuaded FI to come with me to see Brad Paisley! I can't wait!
I had an awesome Christmas and I couldn't pick one gift as the favorite! Bf did a great job as usual - he got me a gorgeous new handbag I'd been dying for, Catching Fire & Mockingjay books so I can finish the Hunger Games trilogy, and a Charlotte Russe giftcard. My aunt & uncle with their family got me an American Eagle giftcard, a Dillards giftcard, and a B&BW set in my favorite scent. My one best friend got me the cutest new PJ set, and my other friend put together an awesome stocking full of some great little things. That's just the standout gifts for me.
I got tons of maternity clothes, which is fantastic because my belly was starting to hang out of the bottom of my shirts :)
My favorite gift though were a pair of neon pink shag slipper boots from my 4 yr old, who claimed he bought me "monster feet" for xmas.

I have a gorgeous diamond necklace my fh bought and worn for me on christmas eve. It surprised me that i didn't get any news that he would bought me any gift, and then we had a nice christmas day.
@Mrs.Estep: I got a pandora too! But this was a gift to myself!
FI got me a (TANGERINE!) KitchenAid Mixter!!!
FI got me a Charmed Memories bracelet with four charms on it. The charms are: a dog to represent our doggy, an "8" to represent our upcoming wedding in August, my birthstone, and a camera representing my work as a newspaper photographer. :)
Here's a cell phone pic...

@Shosha1: I am so excited! This will be our first time going. The lineup they have in store is pretty awesome! I've been bugging FI about going since they announced who is going to be there. I'm still shocked he actually got us passes!
I got 2 bottles of perfume, Wonderstruck and J'adore (I love perfume!)
FI surprised me by getting me a really nice, big jewelry box. I have wanted one for a while, and this one is really nice. It is something that I'll always have.
I just bought myself a Kitchenaid mixer, the professional series. I did use a gift card that my partner's parents got me so it's partially from them :) I also love that my partner got me all kinds of stuff for the bath - a robe, a bath tub tray to hold a book and glass of wine, etc. Corny, but my best friend got me a wine glass with penguins on it (i'm obsessed with penguins).
My Oster double food processor!!!! Oh, and my parents finished out my Rachael Ray collection with the a lasagna pan and oil and vinegar containers!!
Awesome Christmas for my kitchen lovin self!

Thank You! I thought he was joking at first. I knew he was giving me a ring for x-mas. I had no idea he was going to propose.
Two (well, three) stand-out gifts. Santa brought us a Keurig (we've both wanted one for a while, so it was a gift to ourselves). Then, DH had a broken bracelet of mine refashioned into a new bracelet and matching necklace. I love them more than the original piece!
I got a really nice bookshelf, flannel sheets, a tall mini fridge (for beer!), and DH got me a new phone!
This is what he got me:

We just had our wedding and big honeymoon so not many gifts this year. But DH bought me the pandora suitcase charm to remind me of our honeymoon. Also, our photographer sent us a 4 extra enlargements and a small wedding album as a christmas present :)
@JulesSchnooks: and @tksjewelry: Kinda. Our tree was undecorated until last night, and as much as I enjoyed Christmas Mass and our first married Christmas...something was...off. I kinda had a meltdown tonight about it.
@peaches13: I had mine Thurs and never really got over it. This is a first for me. New Years resolution may have to be to plan for Christmas all year to not let this happen again. I usually LOVE Christmas. (Our tree is up and still undecorated. If it hadn't come with lights, we wouldn't have those either)
