We just went for our floral consultation last night and I wasn’t shocked by the price point… but only because I’ve been hanging around the bee long enough to know how much flowers cost. For four bouquets, five boutineers and three corsages, the price is coming in at $500. We’re deciding now if we’ll sign on for it, but yike.
So! What was your flower budget? And show us what you got for the money you spent! I need some beautiful flowers to lighten up this dreary dismal Friday.

Oh my god, I hate the new site. I realized I made the poll incorrectly, but I can’t go back to edit and change it, and it won’t even let me edit my own post. Eugh. Sorry guys.

MrsRevolutionize: I don’t have a picture of the schetch of the layout of my centerpieces but I have a inspiration pic I gave my florist
8 bouquet + toss bouquet
3 flower girls
Arch and aisles ceremony decorations
ascord card table
cocktail hour decor
all for 1300 it will be a combination of baby breath roses , orchid , hydrandras , carnations tulips and some other flower I forgot the name of
Plus we renting the candleabra from the same Compagny she rents them for 560 with delivery and set up. If we had got the candelabra from her it would have been more money. In total we will spend $1860 and that’s very cheap for what I want.

We spend about $600 and ordered everything from fiftyflowers.com. For that price we got:
20 pre-made centerpiece bouquets, and about 300 roses that were used to make all other bouquets, bouts, and have tons of ceremony/reception flowers. We coul have done it a lot cheaper, but I splurged for the fancy colored roses

MrsRevolutionize: Our flowers are costing $1300 and for that we’re getting:
Bride’s bouquet of roses and hydrangeas
MOH bouquet (smaller version of bride’s)
3 bridesmaid bouquets of hydrangeas
7 button-holes (groom; best man; 3 ushers; father of bride; father of groom)
2 seat-back things for the ceremony
2 pedestal arrangements
9 mini fishbowl vases filled with hydrangeas
3 larger fish bowl vases with posies of roses
We didn’t really have a budget as such; I wanted to spend as little as possible so kept things simple.

MrsRevolutionize: Not married yet… we are spending $1700 for two big ceremony arrangements, 23 table centerpieces, 9 boutonnieres (cannot spell that word for my life), 8 corsages, 1 bride bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and a flower girl flower “wand.” It’s definitely sticker shock but there’s a few things to consider- I’ll just post an article for you here:

I spent $150 ($105 on 125 stems of roses and $45 on supplies for DIY.) I made a bride’s bouquet, 3 BM bouquets, and 10 centerpieces. We had a dozen or two left over for petals on the cake table as well.

I am actually working on our florist quote right now so can give you details! Our quote is currently $4,480.00 (was actually more, but we are definitely cutting boutonnieres and corsages for grandparents and parents; we are also considering cutting the groomsmen bouts and the chapel arrangements). We would be getting:
Bridal bouquet ($200)
6 bridesmaid bouquets ($70 ea)
7 bouts- groom & groomsmen ($12.50 ea)
2 large arrangements for the chapel ($275 ea)
22 table centerpieces (11 $120 ea, 11 $75 ea)
5 pub table centerpieces ($35 ea)
1 head table centerpiece ($400)
Plus tax and delivery. Fun stuff! Why did I decide to have a wedding again?!
