My first cycle off BC was 28 days, then 23  days, then 83 days (and of course, AF arrived the first day of our Caribbean vacation). My next cycle (first cycle trying) I got pregnant (BFP right on schedule, CD28), so I was really surprised.

Hopefully you will have the same luck! 🙂

I was off the pill for 3 months a few years ago due to insurance issues. I didn’t have a period or any sign that one might be coming during that 3 months. I ended up having to take something to induce AF so that I could start BCP again. I went off the pill again in December in preparation for TTC. This time around, my cycles have ranged from 19 to 47 days, with 47 seeming to be my new “normal” so far.

    Good luck to you!

After BC mine were 37 (w/ O on 25) and 2nd would have been 40 (w/ O on 27)- I got my BFP 2nd cycle off it.  They were long, but I had been charting even on BC for a month, read all the books and had both a TTC toolkit and luck on my side.

I went off the pill in May, had my period as scheduled that month. My next cycle was, I think, 39 days, got period at end of June. Since then…nothing. It’s been 72 days now and I am driving myself crazy. I go on vacation in 3 weeks, and I’m willing to bet I get my period then, and it’ll probably be the worst one ever. I started taking an extra B6 supplement in addition to my prenatal, I’ve read that it can help regulate cycles, but who knows.

i had been on the pill for 15 years.  i thought it would take me months to be regular.  i’ve had 3 cycles since off.  i’ve been 28 days on 1 side and 27 days on the other.  i’m waiting for my next cycle to see if the other side is always 27 days or if that was a fluke.  i was shocked at how regular i am.  the only thing i don’t miss is the cramps.

I am glad I came on the WB today..I am currently on CD 77. My story is similar to a lot of other women on here though…I came off of BCP in May – had my first period 45 days later and now I am on CD 77 with NOTHING in sight! Took HPT and even had a blood test and BFN! Why is it that the second cycle off of the pill is longer than the first for some women? In a way, it is reassuring that I am not the only one and especially since some have even gotten their BFP after it but still – what gives??

I tracked my cycle for about 12 months, most cycles were 28 – 31 days but two were 35 days for some reason unbeknownst to me.

Well my cycles are really odd.  My longest were probably in high school though when I wasn’t eating enough.  Most of the time, they’re between 26-45 days but I’m not sure I’m ovulating during most of them but just having anovulatory bleeding.
