Only 5 wks along and had my first offical craving last week: cod (as in fish..only a little though), oreos and milk. Together on one plate. Kinda hated myself as I was eating it. Husband looked on with amazement lol
Ok, your turn!

Wow, that sounds terrible. But I’m just commenting to follow 🙂 lol

my mom always ate canned tuna, doritios, and onions together and washed it down with orange juice.

I didn’t have any strange cravings, but I did have overwhelming cravings for nachos (which I ate so often that was our nickname for the baby!) and tater tots. BUT WAIT! The tater tots had to be dipped in ranch dressing. Every single lump of fried potato had to be dipped. I ate a POUND of them in one sitting.

EEK! that sounds..horrible! lol
I never had a craving for anything mixed like that. I was expecting the pickles and ice cream mix everyone was talking about but it never came. My only gross craving was marshmallows. I know, sounds innocent enough, but when you can eat a whole bag in less than 20 minutes and still want more, it’s kinda gross. 4 months PP now and I can’t even look at them

Dude….oh….that sounds so nasty!!!!!!
I’m 20 weeks and haven’t particularly craved anything weird….just sweets. All the time. Cookies, cake, cupcakes, brownies, ice cream……..YUM.

my strangest craving so far, although not really gross, has been peperoncini. i ate an entire jar in 2 days. i’ve been craving mostly spicy/salty stuff. weird thing is, before i was pregnant, i wasn’t a huge fan of spicy things. my husband loves them, so i would ablige. now i can’t get enough.

Ugh I know, I’m still not over what I did! LOL
It’s weird because I’ve just wanted fruit and veggies so far, and right now, I don’t even want to eat anything. Even water is making me gag a little.

Mine wasn’t gross, but I overdid it big time on those little Clementine oranges. I ate 2 BOXES of them in a week. My mouth and tongue were so sore from all the citric acid! Im only 12.5 weeks, though, so who knows what’s on the horizon!

I was pregnant 11 years ago when “Mountain Dew-Code Red” was a thing. I do not drink soda normally. I have NO effing idea why I was craving this, but I had at LEAST one a day for the last few months of my pregnancy. It grosses me out now just thinking about it!!!
I also developed a “craving” for 90s rap. I’m a classic rock kind of girl, but something about TuPac & Biggie made my life worth living during those 9 months.

I didn’t have any strange cravings (28 weeks here), just craved fat and carbs early on. So fast food and takeout (not normal for me!). My favorite was wings though! It had to be Buffalo Wild Wings boneless caribbean jerk though, my favorite sauce. Recently I’ve been wanting sweets though. And milk, lots of milk, especially early.
No strange mixtures here. I didn’t eat too much of anything either. I did eat english muffins with cream cheese for breakfast for about 3 or 4 months straight.

@Diamondgurl: it’s not that disgusting but just knowing how many people abhor them, probably a fresh slice of raw onion on every turkey burger i eat. i love meat and carbs right now.

@patchie: spicy/salty is the best. i had to go to quiznos specifically because i wanted banana peppers on my sammie. lol i wanted theirs… no one elses.

I haven’t had any strange or really any overwhelming cravings at all.
I do always crave something sweet after a meal though, which is unusual. I never used to eat dessert, but now pretty much anytime I eat I want chocolate after! I buy a bag of dark chocolate chips and have a little handful after dinner. Otherwise, I try and satsify the sweet craving with yogurt or chocolate milk!
I have been obsessed with apples though. In the first trimester I constantly wanted apple juice (and still drink it quite a bit). Now though I just want to eat apples. I bring one every day for lunch. Before I got pregnant I was allergic to apples. I don’t know what happened but now I have no issues with them whatsoever!
@patchie: My BFF would eat pepperoncini (and jalapaenos) all the time during her pregnancy! She hated them before getting pregnant and couldn’t eat them and during and even now (her daughter is 2) she loves them!
