What song are you dancing to for your first dance as a married couple ?
We are doing a split dance. First part is going to be all slow to Edge of Forever by Richard Marx and then it will cut into In Control by Nemesea.
"Love of a Lifetime" by Firehouse. My bridesmaid also played it on her violin as I walked down the aisle, so it was perfect!

We've been debating this since before we were engaged and we're still not 100% settled on a song. The only one we've both been able to agree on is "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele so that's what I'm considering our first dance song to be at this point.
We are going to dance to Carbon Leave- Life Less Ordinary.... it could be a little fast but it is totally our relationship. He knew and said I love you first, and it totally freaked me out .... but i stayed! I hope it works out as our first dance.
Looks like I'm the only country bumpkin so far! :) Our first dance will be "When You've Got A Good Thing" by Lady Antebellum!

The Very Thought of You by Etta James. Very old school jazzy. This is the one genre of music we both can agree on, so the song is perfect!
@MrsMaine: I want "Then" to be our first song too! I'm trying to convince my FI who only recently started liking country music. I'm trying to picture how dancing to it would go though... you aren't doing a ballroom type dance, are you?

We chose You and Me, by Lifehouse. I love country music, but my hubby doesn't. I would have loved "Then" by Brad Paisley.
This was a song we both liked and I still love to listen to it about once or twice a month. It "takes me back" to our first dance. :)
We are doing the L.O.V.E song from the Parent Trap. (I know that's not the origin of the song but that's where I first heard it years ago and fell in love with the song then and am still in love with it now.) I'm way too excited for it.

We danced to "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. I loved that it was contemporary and that I'd never heard it at another wedding before.
Still working out the details (we just got engaged 6 days ago!) but I keep coming back to "Blue Eyes" by Cary Brothers. It's a beautiful, unique, 4 minute song that I can just visualize dancing with him to. Plus he has these ridiculous blue eyes... it works.

We danced to Groovy Kind of Love when we got home from dinner. We didn't have a reception.

We are dancing to "You and Me" by Dave Matthews Band
We started with "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. About 1 minute in, we cut to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson and did actual Thriller choreography. Then it mixed into "Now that We Found Love" by Heavy D and some of the wedding party joined us for a dance line. Then it ended back with "The Way You Look Tonight" for the big finish and dip! I mixed the mash-up myself, courtesy of some freeware sound editing software! It was a big hit, the cameras were out everywhere and the crowd was hooting and hollering.
