Our wedding favor is a calla lily wine stopper

You can get them from various places on line.

They come individually wrapped in a nice box with a ribbon that has a thank you tag….

It goes with our theme……

They come to less than $2 per person…..

Our wedding favour will be a cookbook that we are making with family recipes and wedding party’s favourite recipes.

We are having it printed through one of those printers that often does cookbooks for schools and other fundraisers and my mother is doing all the art for it (cover, dividers, etc)

We had really cute koozies from totallyweddingkoozies.com.  I think it was about $80 for 100.  I know some people think they’re tacky, but we know our guests and they all loved them.

We will be doing nips for our seating cards (ala http://i.imgur.com/iHLS4vK.jpg), so that will also be our favor. We also plan to do a dessert table with to-go boxes for guests, so I guess that could also count as a favor.

We gave away consumables that are things we, as a couple, are passionate about.

1) Reuseable & recyclable totes (for groceries, etc) made in USA

2) Packets of tea from Celestial Seasonings (the company is HQ’d in our home state, we’ve toured their facility several times, and we’re fans of certain flavors).

3) Dark chocolate from Endangered Species Chocolates

Our wedding favor was a custom cookbook that we made online and had printed. We love to cook and are known for our skills in the kitchen, plus our “theme” for the wedding was “Eat, Drink, and Be Married”, so it tied in with everything. We used photos from our engagement session, which was shot at all of the places we went to on our epic-length first date (dinner and “refined” bar hopping). And it was filled with our favorite recipes.

We’re avid craft beer fans so we bought a variety of them and relabeled them. They are also serving as the name cards (written on the metal tag)…. And I can’t upload photos from my iPad. I will upload them when I get home.

We found roses that are made from recycled wood shavings. They were cheap (cost like $25 for 60 with shipping) and they will second as place card holders.

We are doing koozies and cookies for our favors. The koozies I ordered from Etsy, and they were .79 each, which wasnt’ bad at all. They say “To have and to hold and to keep your beer cold.” and then were personalized with our names and wedding date. I don’t really care if people think they are tacky, we like them, and we know that our friends will too. I figure that everyone can use a koozie, even if they’re not drinking a beer, and it doesn’t really matter what it says on the side anyway.

My sister/MOH is going to make cookies in the shape of Ohio with a heart over Cleveland since that is where we are getting married. There will be a cookie for each guest.

We’re doing a candy bar, where they can fill whatever they want in these cute white personalized thank you bags.

Also, they’ll have a white mini pumpkin that will be their name plate
