Those of you who are entering your reception to a song, what song did you/will you choose?
no song for us...we'll be introduced and walk right into our first dance
We're using a condensed version of In My Dreams by A Piece of the Action. That's a plug for FI's band. He wrote the song and is the singer, but it's also about me, definitely non-traditional.
Our wedding party is walking in to Song #2 by Blur.
not sure what we'll use, but my cousin got married on Friday and they used "i've got a feeling" by the Black Eyed peas..
We are thinking Ima Be by Black Eyed Peas or your Love is My Drug by Kesha. I have been to a lot of weddings that they used I've Got a Feeling by Black Eyed Peas.
I'm comtemplating Conquest by The White Stripes. I really just want the horn intro and the word "Conquest." The rest of the lyrics don't really fit us, but I just think it would be super awesome. I'm hoping my DJ will have the ability to cut the vocals right after he sings "Conquest"
Lets Get it Started, by Black Eyed Peas. The band chose it and it was perfect!
We used "it takes 2' by rob base and our wedding party came into Boom Boom Pow

We used "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire for the entire wedding party.

We're probably walking in to "That's What I like About You!" by the Romantics. Our bridal party will probably walk in to "Let's Get It Started" Black Eyed Peas. Have fun choosing your song!
Bridal party and us will walk into "what is love" by Haddaway. I'm hoping some of them will do the head bopping routine from "A night at the roxbury".
We are going to use "Forever" by Chris Brown for all of us...since my mom would have a COW if we danced down the aisle at the ceremony (like that YouTube video/Office episode) we're settling for dancing into the reception...LOL. :)

Our wedding party came out to "Kids" by MGMT, and DH and I walked out to "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce & Jay-Z.
Have not discussed it yet...but I want "Side by Side" by Earth Wind and Fire.
The musical intro to "Thunderstruck" by ACDC - it just gets you revved up! Perfect intro music, I think! Plus, FH said no lovey dovey songs, lol.
Run "wedding grand entrance" on youtube for some great ideas and fun stuff to do.
My daughter's wedding is in a theatre, on stage, and the reception is in the main lobby. The theme is Phantom of the Opera/Masquerade and the Bridal party will come down the stairs into the room to the song "Masquerade".
We have made custom masks for each of the bridal party and there is an inexpensive mask for every guest on their table :) It's going to be great!
We used "the Final Countdown" by Europe - it was a ridiculously awesome moment!
We're using The Turtle's Happy Together at the bridge. I'm pretty excited for this moment!!

This might be a dumb question but... when do you use a song for your entrance and when do you not?? Do you not use a grand entrance song if you're being introduced and going straight into your first dance? My fiance wants to use something fun like "Another Bites the Dust" or Lets get Ready to Rumble... but we're going straight into our first dance from being introduced... so would we not use one at all???
