Dang, I guess our wedding was as outdated as they come since we had chair sashes and the blinged-out monogrammed letter on top of our cake…

Plastic columns separating cake layers with a water fountain feature. Chevron fabrics/paper. Christmas lights. 

They are pretty and I don’t have a problem with these features whatsoever, they just remind me of an older style.

Oh! and the flat marble thingees that look like fishtank accessories. I think some brides use them in candle centerpieces.
