What were you notorious for as a baby?

@tmsing:  Picking up garbage (well, I considered them “treasures”) off the ground and putting it in my pockets. Mom never knew what she’d find when washing my clothes.

I had to be carried around. Not just held, but moving. I am the oldest child on my mother’s side of the family, so they never wanted to put me down, and then it came back to bite them in the ass 😉

When I was a toddler, I couldn’t stand being dirty. If I got a bit of ketchup or something on my finger while I was eating, someone had to wipe it off before I would continue. It’s a wonder I didn’t develop some form of OCD.

My mom said I was an excellent pooper when I was a baby haha. Okkkkk…

When I was a little older she said I would sit in front of the TV watching Peter Pan, my favorite movie, and when it ended I’d turn my head all creepily like Village of the Damned children and just say “play it again”.

My parents still give me grief for my tantrums and for the incident when I pooped on the central console in my Dad’s old car. Frankly I’m amazed that, as a one year old, I managed to go potty in there lol.

@Pinkmoon:  HILARIOUS!!!!  Love it!

From the sounds of it I wasn’t a terribly fun baby…cried a lot.  I think I’m more notorious for my obsession with barbies and begging people to play barbies with me.  I actually collected/played with barbies until I was in middle school…so yeah that’s embarassing!!!

@tmsing:  Apparently, one day, my Dad was watching me for a few hours while my Mom went out. My Dad did not know how to change a diaper. I was only a month or so old. I pooed every direction out of my diaper, all the way up to my neck. 🙂 My dad rinsed me off and tied a t-shirt around my would-be diaper area. Also, my parents have this lovely pic of me spitting up. Yay. And then there was this lovely “A******* meet sidewalk, sidewalk, A*******” moment the day before my 2nd birthday…

I am forever reminded that I constantly threw tantrums so bad that they always ended in me vomiting. My mum reinacts them. :/

Not so much as a baby, but as a toddler/preschooler I would insist on going to the bathroom at every single place we went – even if I didn’t need to go. My mom still pokes fun at me about it. 🙂

Apparently I was an awesome baby, according to my mom. I cried twice. I was perfect. 😉 She should have just stopped there…my brothers were fussy babies. haha. (I’m kidding, I love my brothers and sister of course!)

My HAIR.   I had a ton of it then and I have a ton of it now.   It was freakish that 1 hour out of the womb I had a ponytail.   Thankfully I didn’t grow up to be as hairy as those nurses probably assumed I would.

Black hair on the head and blonde hair on arms and legs – oh thank you jesus.

My mom swears that I woke up crying every single morning for the first two years or so. She said she literally does not remember a day that I woke up happy. I’m still grouchy in the mornings but I don’t cry anymore, haha.

I was a cry baby!

My older sister slept through the night on her first night home from the hospital, so I think my parents were assuming that I’d do the same. Little did they know what I had in store for them! lol

Anyway, I guess I cried all during Thanksgiving dinner on my first Thanksgiving. Then during my first Christmas, my mom’s side of the family decided to get a cabin in the mountains for the holidays, and I cried ALL NIGHT!

I guess I was spoiled by my baby sitter because if I was put down, I’d cry until I was picked up again.

I never slept. My parents claim I didn’t sleep through the night until I was in my twenties. They told me I should write a book “101 Excuses Why I can’t Sleep”.

FI apparently was the same way…I figure we’re doomed if we ever have kids! We’ll never sleep again! I know that seems like a common complaint but I think we perfected the art.

I would get out of bed all the time…I need water, I have to pee, I can’t sleep, my head is weird, there’s a burglar in my room, I heard a noise, I think there are snakes outside…omg. My poor parents!! They deserve an award!
