Victim blaming, Rape myths, equal rights, pro choice, and marriage equality.

I will go absolutely bonkers, and no one will ever change my feelings on it.

E-READERS!!!!! Oh boy I hate them with a passion. Nothing will change my mind (and yes I have attempted reading e-books, so I know they’re not for me). No wonder Borders closed here and so many other bookstores are closing. Even for travel purposes and reading on a bus or train I think you should take real books. We have enough technology already!!!

Ipads I see the value in as there is so much other stuff, my FI has one and doesn’t have a single e-book on there. He hates them almost as much as I do.

I have been reading books all my life (well having them read to me until I was about 4 when I learnt to read), and I plan on reading for the rest of my life. E-books will never be for me, even if I need to use a bedroom as a library when FI and I have our own house to accommodate all our books, I will do it.

People telling me Greeks are lazy.

People telling me that the Welsh language is dead and pointless.

Vitrol against gay people

Racist Bile

Cruelty against any beings

Oh and not forgetting….

I will argue to the death to save face, even if I was wrong, most popular reason being DH didn’t tell me something, but in actualy fact he did and I just forgot – I will NEVER back down there.

I am so severely anti- smoking. Can’t believe this is even an agrument, but my family defends it, even whilst it is ruining their health, one by one.

Being nice and inclusive to people, AKA political correctness, curb cuts, non-english ballots, not playing music too loud at work, etc.

Gender roles! I hate prescribed “men should do this, women should do this.”

I used to argue passionately about gay marriage/gay rights and abortion, but I find that if someone is already on one side or the other, I have never successfully convinced them otherwise. So now I just let this slide.

The scam that has become higher education funding in the U.S, and the watering down of the secondary education system.  We are ruining an entire generation of lives.

Politics.  The only time DH and I have ever yelled at each other during a fight, we were (drunkenly) arguing about Guantanamo Bay.  We’ve kept our political discussions pretty short and factual since, as we discovered we’re on opposite sides of the aisle.

I have a long list, but I keep pretty calm most of the time and the usual things like politics and religion can get me pretty riled up, but MAN– start talking shit about LSU football in front of me and for some reason it just makes my blood boil.

I also dislike it and find it irritating when people who you are talking to ( or typing to in some cases) discredit you off of what little information they may know about you and make judgments on what you’re “probably like”. You don’t know me!

Oh currently? Racist costumes. Like white people dressing up in blackface (yeah I’ve seen it lately), or as geisha, wearing turbans and robes, things like that. There is actually a post making its way around my facebook list on it. What bugs me about this particular photo is,  no one said a word about American Indians.
