September bees…just a little while more to go and then we are married! The day will fly by, we’ll have fun, but then the -so anticipated- wedding day is over 🙂
Back to real life….for me that will mean that i can finally relax without having a constant countdown in my head. Maybe then I can finally finish reading the stack of books by my bedside (non wedding related LOL)
Whats on your To Do list for after the wedding?

We are going to Disneyland the day after!! Then a short week back at work, before we leave that next Saturday for our honeymoon! After the honeymoon…. aaahhh relaxation! And saving for something more concrete than a wedding. Like a house, lol.

We are going to Disney World for a week, then have a big party at our house to celebrate our new home and the wedding.
After that, I am looking forward to really getting a chance to enjoy our new house, thing have been a little crazy since we closed, and I feel like we havnt really got a chance to just sit and enjoy it.
I am also looking forward to saving money again!

After my wedding in November, I’ll be looking forward to Christmas (hopefully we’ll have some money still saved so we can do something fun).
Right after the wedding, looking forward to spending time with my family before they leave.

We’ve started a to-do list. Two of them, actually. One for “house stuff” (de-clutter the closet, paint the guest room, etc) and one for “fun” stuff (try one new restaurant a month, all the local museums we want to go to, various day trips, etc). We’ll have a lot more free time, money and energy and dont want to waste it! We’re also going to start throwing dinner parties. We’ve both reconnected with various friends during the wedding planning process and we want to keep them close!

WE are leaving for the Honeymoon right after the wedding and will be back 13 days later.
@Kjeff760: We have been saving for nearly 15 months and I am kinda looking forward to just being able to spend some money again, without feeling guilty that I should be saving it for the wedding
@fishbone: great idea to make lists for fun stuff and house stuff 🙂

We are going to be moving from Kentucky to Michigan after the wedding. Not right after, but within a few days or so. My future hubs is military, so we will be moving up there! No honeymoon yet, going to save up for a little bit and then take one after we are settled in a little bit 🙂 I will be so happy that I won’t be suffering from wedding brain anymore, Lol.

Relax!!! And eat some real food–at a restaurant no less, chop this mess of hair off my head, and go shopping since I won’t be constantly broke!

@Robin_Sparkles: Yes to the shopping and eating part 🙂

Plan away bees..our wedding was not yet 2 months ago and it’s been..weird..i am a little lost, without truly knowing what to do with myself (i mean, besides having a family, work, houseclean, grocery shops and reading). Sure, we’re going to the beach on holidays for two weeks..but i don’t feel “right”..now i get it why newlyweds start TTC shortly after the wedding, which we will not do as we’re not having another child. I wish i could talk to him about something we can do as a couple, like painting the dinning-room or buying the so much needed bookcase for my beloved books, but he’s so absorbed in working his ass of lead his firm through this terrible crisis that i feel awkward about it..
