Any other Marriage Ref fans out there? If you and your husband were to get on the show, what would be your big dispute?

I LOVE The Marriage Ref!!! I'm not married yet, but I think our biggest issue would be his sleeping habits! I go to bed at 9:30 pm since I have to be up at 4:30 am, but he will go to bed anytime between 12:00 am and 3:00 am. One time he was STILL up when I woke up for work! On the weekends when I can stay up late we sleep together, but I want to sleep more nights with my FH! I'm not saying he has to be in bed by 9:30, but maybe 10 or 10:30? I don't think that is a whole lot to ask especially since his justification is "I just like to stay up." Undecided

@serasvictoria- aw, we had that issue a while back too except reversed. I'm a total night owl (would generally like to stay up until 12-1) and he would prefer to be in bed by 9:30 every night. When he tries to stay up with me he falls asleep on the couch and thats really annoying. When I try to go to bed with him I end up lying there wide awake staring at the ceiling and being annoyed that i have a "bed time." Now we both try a little harder, but also just don't care so much. He tries to stay up as late as he can but if he's going to fall asleep, he just goes to bed. I try to go to bed as soon as i think i'll actually be able to fall asleep. It works out to us going to bed together maybe 3 times/week, but other than that we're just okay that we don't.

Like some of you, ours would probably be about our bedtimes.  I'm a night owl and he always falls asleep so early.  He tries to tough it out with me, but it's kind of annoying when he falls asleep on the couch and I get annoyed laying in bed when I'm not tired yet.  Luckily I have a TV in our bedroom now, but it's still hard putting myself to bed early just to go the same time as him.

Ah cool! I'm not the only one! Though I guess I am the wimp in our relationship about bedtimes. :-D

I get REALLY nasty though if I don't get my beauty rest. So when we does try to go to bed early and just tosses and turns I will usually kick him out if it keep me up.

My hubby has no trouble just sleeping it off on the recliner while I stay up and watch tv / play games /read etc. And he doesn't mind when i'm still sacked out when he gets up for work, haha. We do keep the same schedule on weekends though!

Our marriage ref issue would be birth control - I appreciate his offer to get a vasectomy b/c I really dislike BC, but I find it completely out of the question. Unless necessary, I don't want to have to go to the doctor to get pregnant someday. I'm thinking a romantic trip to Paris and name our vacation-conceived child Eiffel Tower or something, you know? haha

FI has terrible sinuses which causes him to be snotty and mucusy all the time and leave his goddamn tissues EVERYWHERE and also makes him chew like a horse because he can't breathe through his nose. All of these things are disgusting and make my skin crawl. I want him to get that sinus surgery. He doesn't want to. Enter Marriage Ref.

ETA: Oh, and I almost forgot the snoring problem that comes from the sinuses.
