I found a hair and makeup artist that I am going to maybe book. She is a little cheaper than the original Hair and MUA I was going to go with. However she is charging 2x as much for a trial than the original lady. Would you do the trial with the original, take a pic and use that as a guide for the new hair and MUA? I want a trial but what sense does it make if I do a trial with an artist I won’t book with. But I don’t want to pay that much for a trail with the new lady.

It’s annoying that the trial is more expensive but you should still do it. Your trial should be with whoever you choose on your wedding day. That way she knows what you want and what looks best.

@AlwaysSunny: You’re right. Thanks for your reply.
But to make things even more complicated, I spoke with another hair and mua today and her prices are pretty much the same (maybe cheaper because she includes lashes when you get yur makeup done). She is a little bit farther away and she would have to contract someone to come and do my facial and massage BUT the price is better. So now I am torn. Ugh! Oh and her trial is even cheaper than the 1st hair and mua!
Gonna speak more with her tomorrow and the spa lady to get things finalized and finally pick someone.

I had 2 trials, one was horrible and I did not book that stylist/mu artist, don’t assume one stylist can do what another can because if she can’t you might end up looking horrible on your wedding day. Do the trial with whoever you want to book with.

Good advice. I decided to go with the 3rd hair and MUA. I will book her for my trial and if I like her I’ll book her… if not, at least I have 2 other options.
