So I was talking to my sister at the front door. Across the room, I saw a quarter sized spider run across the carpet and go under the entertainment center. Seriously. A QUARTER. I haven’t seen it since, and it’s been about an hour and a half.
I can’t handle spiders.
What would you do about it?

I’d leave it be until it crawls out again. If spiders are a persistent problem, you can call Orkin or any pest control place to spray the outside of your house. It usually prevents the creepy crawlies from wandering all over.
If you don’t like dealing with the crunch of squishing a spider, a can of compressed air turned upside down and a quick blast does a good job of killing it by freezing it!

Awww… I was raised in community that has spiders nearly the size of your palm and black widows so I’d just leave it, unless it seemed like one of the dangerous ones. Or I might just pick it up and take it outside if it comes out again.

I’d probably ignore it. Spiders aren’t a huge deal for me. Now, roaches are another story.
My first apartment outside of my college campus had a german roach infestation and I pretty much drove myself crazy because they’re notoriously hard ot get rid of without fumigating the entire apartment building. I spent literally hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of them and countless hours researching. They were really bad in the kitchen so I devoted practically all my free time for 2 weeks caulking up every last crack in the kitchen – around and inside the cupboards between the shelves, along the baseboards of the walls, underneath the drawer cabinets where the wood met – pulled my fridge out and caulked the area behind that…everywhere. Then I made roach poison and left them in corners and dark areas.
Got rid of the roaches in the kitchen but then they moved to my desk area in the living room. *shudder*
So glad I moved out of that sh*thole, although I was worried to death they were going to travel with me through the move – I wrapped everything in plastic bags coated with roach killer.

I won’t lie.. I probably would steer clear of that room for the rest of the night until my SO came home! I’m such a baby when it comes to spiders and bugs!

I would be weirded out but would just ignore it since spiders don’t bother me. But if they did bother me I’d just stay out of that room and hope for the best lol

Two words: Husband’s job. I’d tell him when he got home to find it and get rid of it.

Hate! once a spider fell on me when I was sitting on the couch. It was month before I’d sit there again.
Can you get a vacuum and suck it out from underneath?

Blue job. I have sever arachnophobia, so I would probably surround the entertainment unti with rolled up towels so that I could not get out, and then call FI, if he was not going to be there in what I felt was an appropriate amount of time I would probably either go crazy with a can of raid, or call my dad to regulate the problem.
I cannot handle insects.
