FI is a Resident Physician at a hospital where he doesn’t really care too much about his fellow residents. Nothing specific, but I have hung out with them (the male residents aren’t bad, I actually like em) …but the females are immature, loud and very cliquey.
They know he is engaged (obviously they have met me) and they ask about the wedding every time they see him and then follow it by “Can’t wait to be there!”
Huh? who said you are invited? They said it in front of me a few times and I laughed and just went along with the joke…cause I thought it was a joke…
Well today they asked about details in a way to free up their schedule…LOL
We were planning on inviting a few of the guys…but def not all 15 of them O_o
What should we do? FI is extremely annoyed.

ugh so awkward! thats a tough one as they are all coworkers, but since your FI doesnt care about them, i say just dont invite them and dont talk about the wedding with them. if they ask again, FI can just give the standard “siz of the venue” excuse and move on!

It’s so much easier if you are able to give a straight answer the first time a subject is raised.
It saves all that awkwardness later.

Well good news is theres no way they can all take off at once. Just invite who you consider friends, their rudeness should not pressure you into inviting them.

just say with the budget, size of venue and things liek that, you were on able to invite them. Maybe say ud like to have dinner and drinks shortly after the weddign to celebrate
