I'm wanting to open up a  Etsy shop in time and wanted to know your guys opinion prior. I really want to get really peoples suggestions.

I'm wanting to sell these wedding bouquets and other wedding or in general accsorries.

What would you honestly pay for a bouquet like this.

I'm trying to make sure my pricing is reasonable. I've included a voting poll to get ideas. I listed the pricing within the price ranges I've seen other bouquet on Etsy listed for.

I'd pay maybe $50-70 for one. However, I don't believe in spending a ton of money on something like a bouquet. They're beautiful, though!

I voted for your $50-$70 range but honestly, I don't think I'd pay much more than about $50 max for a feather bouquet.

They are beautiful but I agree with the FutureKMM, it'd be great if it was under $50.

Thanks guys. Its hard to make it $50 with some of the supplies I used... I think I'll work on some that are in a lower price range as well as high. Something for everyone. I just need to find out how to make it under $50, but still elegant!

I think it's a great idea to make bouquets for a few different price ranges.  Sometimes when I shop on Etsy I fall in love with things that I just can't afford to buy.  I wish more sellers would have options for different budgets.  Definitely a great idea if you can figure out a way to make it happen!

Have you done a search on Etsy for some of the feather bouquets? I believe one member said she got her bridal bouquet and 4 or 5 BM bouquets (all feathers) for $600. That being said, if you are just starting out, maybe start at a lower price point and increase it as you figure out what works? I also think you should take into account that the feedback you're getting at WB isn't necessarily from brides who WANT feather bouquets, so they won't put as high a price tag on them. I'd be fine paying $80 for my bridal bouquet if I really wanted feathers. Just something to keep in mind. :)

I really wanted an alternative bouquet for my wedding and purchased pinwheels for myself and the bridesmaids from etsy at $20 each. They're cute, cheaper than flowers and fun, so I'm really excited. I would have considered feather bouquets, and yours are really pretty, very cool and funky, but for $50-70 and above I think you might lose business to cheaper competition.

For example, brooch bouquets on etsy--really cool looking, but why would I spend hundreds of dollars to purchase one when I know I'll get just as many cool pics with my pinwheels? Maybe you could have different levels--offer some smaller/less ornate ones for less money, particularly if someone wants their bridesmaids to have them as well. Then if they want lots of bling or fancy details for the bride, it's easier to justify the higher price point.

Also, think about how popular DIY is these days...if someone doesn't want to pay what you charge, there is encouragement from all around to just make it themselves! So maybe if you sourced some cheaper, more basic supplies to make a lower tier of bouquets, you could still keep these gorgeous, not-quite-as-cheap ones on the market knowing that not everyone will be able to afford the deluxe model.

@ pinkpaperbride: Oh I loved those pinewheels they where summer cute and I would have pry made those myself for mywedding, but its more a summer of spring look. I wanted more of a Vintage look. So I guess price really would depend on what your looking for.

I love them, they are beautiful...however I don't know that I would be willing to pay more then $50 for a brides bouquet and definatly not more then $30 for my bridesmaids. I know they are time consumming to make (I'm in the process of making my own for my wedding) and the materials can be expensive....but for something that is going to get ruined, thrown away or just collect dust in the chiro after the wedding, I'd rather pay more for something else that will be around/part of the house for longer....just my thought.
