That Up house got me thinking.

Like, picture the bridal party walking in until the music slows down (1:10) and then having the bride (me!) walk in when the music has slowed?

I doubt I'd use this exact track, my cousin plays violin and I may hire him to play it! Because 1:10 isn't a long time for the bridal party to walk in, is it?

Would you think it's cute or weird?

I like the "UPbeat" part of the song for your BM's, but almost think it's too slow and quiet for your entrance.  Don't forget that YOU should be the center of attention for the day!

@melisslp: Hmmm. Maybe I can speed it up somehow. Or I wonder how it would sound if it faded into the wedding march?? I need more talented violinist friends to help me picture stuff like this ;)

I love the idea. This song is cute and has a nice sway to it. Although, I do agree with PP.

But, we are using it for the recessional, not processional.

I just listened to the song.  Absolutely precious!!  I love the idea of movie themes as processionals.  I am having a winter wedding and want somthing very magical and mysterious. I am going with Rachel Portmans theme from the Movie Chocolat.  Passage of time.  I think your wedding will be wonderful!  Good luck to you and your FI.

The processional is when you are all coming in and walking down the aisle, the recessional is when you're pronounced husband and wife and exit.
