So we all know that our fiances (or boyfriends) are amazing and we love them, but there hace to be things we don't like about them, too. I thought we'd at least be amused by sharing our silly little pet peeves about our men.
My FI always wears long sleeve shirts under his TShirts, which is fine, but whenever he puts his shirts in the hamper, he leaves the long sleeve shirt still in the short sleeve shirt! It drives me crazy! If he took two seconds to seperate them before putting them in the hamper, then laundry would be so much easier! Granted, I've told him that four four years and it has yet to change hahaha.
he leaves his shoes and socks..that he wore that day.. in the living room. It is SSOOO annoying!
I love my FH to death!! He's amazing!! But he blows his nose in the shower (into his hands) and that just grosses me out to no end!!! I mean, he's clean and the bathtub is clean, but I just can't stand it!!! It's just yucky!!
I love my boy and I truly think he is the best but I HATE his addiction to video games. I secretly (and sometimes not so secretly) that the XBOX would blow up or get a power surge and fry!!!! Especially when new games come out. It makes me wanna throw the dirty socks, that he manages to wad up when he takes them off, at his face =)
@miss chocolate - ew! every guy I know does that and it repulses me, its so nasty!!
Mine snores like a freight train....
He also doesn't always empty his pockets before putting his clothes in the laundry, so sometimes, I will find wrenches in the washer or dryer.
I love mine to death too.....but I have this major pet peeve about drawers and cabinets being left open. Inevitably....he always seems to leave his dresser drawer open just a crack, just enough for me to notice and have it drive me nuts
Our laundry room is across the hall from our bedroom but somehow there's always a pile of clothes near our bedroom door. Ugh!
There are a bunch of little things that I find to be annoying, although there are only a few that I have felt a need to address. The first of which is his horrible memory. Omg, its the worst! The second is his inability to pay bills on time.
As far as silly little pet peeves. My FI always leaves his clothes and stuff all over the apartment for days (we've lived together for 6 years so I'm at a point where I refuse to pick it up anymore). Then he goes into a cleaning freenzy and expects everyone to stay out of his way until he's done, it puts him in a horrible mood. Such a strange guy!
@shannon1126- I know!!! It's just so nasty!! I don't get it!! Blow your nose before or after you get in the shower... Not while you're taking one!!
Snoring!! I kinda have a love/hate relationship with his snoring. It can get REALLY LOUD, like the sound of a thousand Formula-1 racecars all turning on their engines at the same time. It wakes me up and it's soooo annoying! But when he's out of town traveling to a conference or something and I have to sleep alone, I miss the sound of the rare but precious little snores that sometimes happen between his big loud snores. Sigh...
aaaagh @amanda.lynn and @colorcoated: it's the worst!! I told him that before our epics and before the wedding, we have to cover his fingers with bandaids so they can heal and he can stop biting them. It's like a reflex for me to push his arm down when he lifts his hands to his mouth, lol.
He used to not rince his dishes before putting them in the sink... but now he does.
He also used to leave all his dirty clothes in a pile and wait until the day the cleaning lady came to put in in th hamper...
Things change when you ask nicely :)
@ Jennifer.. omg.. I thought you were talking about my guy! lol He is the exact same way!
@noritake22: you have me dying from laughter! i thought i was the only one that would randomly find wrenches or such items in the washer! its so nice to know im not alone!
Oh here's another good one. FI likes to sleep with background noise. I don't mind if he leaves music on, but more than half the time he likes to sleep with the tv on. I've had so many werid Scooby Doo dreams because of it haha. I hate sleeping with the tv on!
Oh, we both have beverage related drive-the-other-nuts habits! He leaves Coke Zero cans everywhere (I call his nightstand a shrine to Coke Zero). I leave my water bottle caps all over the place... We balance each other out that way!
@color coated - when the FI and I first started dating his tv was on a permanent timer and set to come on at 8pm and stuff off at 11pm to ensure that he would fall asleep to the TV being on and I was like "um I am sorry but if you want me to stay here the TV has to be off" and he has managed to fall asleep and leave it on and my dreams are always so so weird when that happens
I can't stand it when FI leaves his clothes in the washer for hours or longer instead of putting them instantly into the dryer. And his loud snoring drives me crazy.
i love my fi but i hate when he leaves the counter top dirty, if he prepare something to eat he just leave allt he food on the counter and the counter dirty... it drives me crazy
he doesn't plan ahead to do things - he HATES planning actually, so he often overbooks himself and then gets super stressed out.
@everyone who hates the tv on in sleep: yeah, try sleeping to that creepy wii menu music. shiver.
I hate when my FI insists on cooking, and seems to dirty every dish in the kitchen.
taking socks and pants off and leaving them in the living room or dining room every day when he comes home... our room is right down the hall!!! why why oh why can't he just walk 10 extra feet and take them off in the other room? drives me crazy!
and he is a loud smacky mouth chewer sometimes too! that is the worst because it really makes me feel nauseous... he has improved majorly in that department though
I HATE when he leaves his little hairs all over the bathroom sink and counter after shaving - UGH!
I also dislike his video game obsession but he is getting better!
I hate the little trail of 'Things' he leaves around the house. and that he beard trims onto the carpet! Grrr
hahahaha this is the greatest thread. i almost didn't read it because i was like "awww but my man is so perfect i don't want to think about something that might irk me" and i'm so glad i read these hahaha i have too many things in common with you girls...i guess in some instances the saying "men are all the same" can be true :-p i was reading these going "OMG YOU TOO!? ME TOO!!" "AH! YOUR FI DOES THAT?! SO DOES MINE!" lol im just glad they're things that won't make or break us 
. plus i'd hate to hear what he has to say about things i do that bother him LOL
He has a hamper but somehow there is always a pile of clothes on the floor! Sometimes clean sometimes dirty, I never know. He throws his laundry on the bed after getting it out of the dryer then when it is time for bed oh look its on the floor! He is absolutely amazing though!
Oh oh! He also plays WOW (World of Warcraft). We have negogiated it down to 3 nights/week but it still bugs the crap out me!
Haha, I love this thread! I hate the way my guy eats. It's so noisy! He makes gross smacking noises, and I know he can't help this part but his jaw makes popping noises (he's got tmj). Drives me nuts!
FH has a weird habit of putting things on the EDGE of a shelf or table. It's so weird! A glass, a bottle, a book, anything -- always on the edge of the table. It's like he wants me to bump into it and knock it down! I cannot figure this out.
haha the more I read the more I laughed!!! Pretty much everything that everyone has said!!! He takes his pants and socks off in the living room too!!! And he makes the BIGGEST mess when he is making food!! I also hate the loud chewing!! I always say "babe..." and then he knows right away what Im talking about!!! Glad to know all of us have the same pet peeves :-)
He's unbelievable adorable, but @jennifer espos- my fiance has the WORST memory! I know how you feel!
It's been ridiculous to the point where he's invited me out on a date and he'll forget that he did. He's super sweet so he'll cook dinner or whatever to make up for it, but I sometimes feel a bit like his date book
(though he does do most, if not all, of the cooking, so I bet he feels a bit like my chef :P)
I love my fiance, but I could do without the language.
oh wow, this is great! I SO agree with you girls who have the FI with the memory problem. My FI loses/forgets where he puts EVERYTHING he completely lost his keys twice in a 2 month period and they were never found again. If it wasnt for me he would lose EVERYTHING he owns. PLUS he NEVER remembers when he tells me things, thus having to sit through the same story sillions of times. haha not fun, but oh well. good thing hes a great story teller ;-)
