Yep, the title says it all. What wedding projects are you working on right now? I must be forgetting something. Maybe your ideas will remind me or someone else. :)

    My current projects are:

    1. Finish up my accessories for the wedding day and day-after photo shoot. I am waiting for sketches of my custom shrug for the wedding day and hunting for the perfect bracelet for our day-after shoot.

    2. Mail my invites. My envelopes should be ready for pick-up from the calligrapher on Wednesday. I still need to cut the paper for the belly bands and get an entire invite package weighed at the post office to see how much postage I will need per envelope.

    3. Order a pretty hanger from Etsy. I think I am going to do a fancy wire one with our wedding date.

    4. Order personalized embroidered handkerchiefs for us, my parents, and our ceremony readers.

    5. Actually ask our readers if they will be part of our ceremony. oops

    So far this month

1). Got FH to apply for his passport- should be getting it in the mail pretty soon.

2). Got FH is wedding band yesterday! Wahoo!

3). Meet with our Pastor tomorrow night to confirm the cermony time and other details. May print off the invitations that night or wait until tomorrow morning.

4). Taking off from work the next day to print the invitations, assemble them and put them in the mail. . .FINALLY!

5). Call the florist the end of this week or early next week to finalize everything.

6). Get FH moving on getting his attire and groomsmens's attire.

7). Prepare the programs for the wedding ceremony. Get a basic template set up and ready to be printed later on.

    This is a great idea!

    1. Pick up invitations from the printer and assemble them. Hopefully they'll be in the mail by the end of the week!

    2. Update our wedding website with hotel information and things to do.

    3. Finalize details with the florist.

    4. Do our pre-wedding engagement shoot with the photographer. SO nervous! It's this Friday.

    5. Yarn balls and paper flowers - trying to do a little bit each week.

    6. Work on our first dance.

I've been working on a bunch of stuff but nothing is finished. :/

    Designing the programs

    Painting the cardbox

    Looking at headpieces and jewelry

    Trying to pick shoes

Working on I Spys, just need to order them

    Ordering things for centerpieces

I need the rest of the supplies for my BM gifts and cake topper.

Ugh this feels like a lot!

so glad to see this post, totally feeling overwhelmed! Currently, this is my "hot list":

1.) Anxiously waiting for my letterpressed invites to come in the mail

2.) Trim all info "booklets" that I designed and had flat printed (they'll go in the invitation suite)

3.) Finish addressing all envelopes, weigh invites again ( just to be sure!), assemble and send out!

4.) Finalize all ceremony music selections

5.) Take 2nd engagement pictures this Sunday!

6.) Get menus, and postcards (for the guestbook) printed

7.) Get FI to ask his friend to be an Usher!! (taking forever!)

8.) Ask readers, and gift bearers to participate

    9.) Finish website

10.) Buy/ order gifts for parents, groomsmen and ceremony participants

11.) FI family needs to reserve rehearsal dinner

....scheesh, so much more. this is just the beginning.

    Nice thread!

    1. Having our invitation suites printed soon! I designed them and am having them printed with Catprint.com
    2. Just finished and wrapped my bridesmaids' gifts and "cold feet socks" for my groom :)
    3. Finally found a florist to do our altar arrangement!
    4. Working on sending our list of do-not-plays and please-plays to the DJ. We are super picky about music. Sorry DJ!
    5. Oh yeah! And my first dress fitting is August 7th. I have a ton of borrowed/old/etc. accessories to bring with me and decide between.

You are on the ball ladies!  For August it's all about the little things and double checking the larger things.

    1.  Decor:  I held a crafting party with some of my gfs.  We knocked out the majority of my pinwheels, which will be used as escort cards, aisle decorations, and reception decorations.  But I need to finish.

    2. Guest Book: Using a Martha Stewart template for a mad lib style guest book...basically I have to hit print and then use a paper cutter.  10 min max. I am all about keeping it simple.

    3. Invitations: As soon as they come in I am arranging, stuffing, and mailing.

    4. Patiently await my dress arrival...apparently the shop closes the first two weeks of August for vacation and that is when my dress arrives, so I will not get it until mid-August.  In the back of my head I am worried it will be the wrong dress.  I just want to settle that voice.  On the upside, all bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen have their attire.

    5. Confirm everything.

    This weekend I need to

finish the invites, address them, and send them out next week

finish all my napkin rings (40 to go)

stamp all my popcorn bags and out of town bags

make my clay mustaches and lips on sticks

    make my thank you sign

I would be thrilled if I could get all that done in 3 days (FI will be off on his bach party weekend)

wow, there is so much I need to do, but none of it seems "urgent" so it's so hard to motivate me! Hopefully I'll be able to get a lot of this done this week and next:

    - work on ceremony/program/music/readings

-finish buying things for BM's bags

-start assembling/addressing invites (we get them Aug. 5, goal is to send them Aug. 18)

-maybe go to a craft store and figure out how to put sparkly "i do"'s on the bottom of my shoes

-finalize meeting date with florist (I think I just did that! yay!)

-decide what I want to do for a card box, and maybe make it.

    -buy wedding bands

-maybe continue working on table numbers and print them (FI isn't sure he likes my idea. I think I need to wait on that...)

I keep reminding myself, that even though I have like 90 days left, why WOULDN'T I do every possible thing in advance that I can?! I'm such a procrastinator! This is one thing that I reallly should NOT procrastinate on!

so many little things to do! the next 2 weeks i'm planning on:

    1. Sending out invitations (99% ready, just need outer stamps!)

    2. Finalizing song for first dance - have a few contenders.

    3. Find gifts for bridesmaids

    4. Finalize photo guest book and table number signs.

    5. Get FI's attire and his groomsmen's attire ordered (not my responsibility of course)

    6. Start thinking about ceremony and vows - i think it's still too early for me to work on this though...i'd like to wait until it's a little closer.

    7. Find a place to get my wedding ring engraved. I have no idea how to go about doing this!

    8. Update website with transportation and hotel info - must do this before i send the invites.

Wow, sounds like a lot, and that's only the stuff on the list for the next 2 weeks! damn...

Honestly? I'm working on breathing. I'm starting to panic for various reasons, esp since right now we can't find a rehearsal time/date that works for our officiant and us and the venue, so that's the big one.

Invites will be printed this week, so that will be next. In the middle of that, working on DIY projects and ordering things I've had my eye on, but hadn't pressed "add to cart" yet :)

Oh, and I totally changed what I wanted for shoes, so I spend every other day checking Zappos. Finding peep-toe open-back red kitten heels is harder than it should be.

And tonight I find out if the seamstress recommended to me can make my dress into a sweetheart neckline.

That's just the things on my mind at the moment!

@lovekiss: You're doing fine! Actually I just gave our readers their Scripture readings this morning officially asked two people to be greeters for us. You're not behind haha. Here's some of the stuff we recently did/are doing:

    • Invitations came back from the printer. Now comes the arduous task of counting plus ones and families so we can get an accurate count and send out the invites.
    • I scheduled our bridal party nail appointment for the day before the wedding.
    • I haven't received the bridesmaid dresses yet so I'm checking up on that. We ordered them the last week in March, so they should be in soon.
    • Trying to schedule my hair and makeup trial for the same day I have my final dress fitting. That way I can get the overall look and see how I want my veil? I think it's worth a PTO day haha.
    • Working on having a friend design our thank-you cards and wedding programs. I have a draft done of the ceremony.
    • Should begin working on wedding week itineraries.
    • FI just picked a tuxedo place. FINALLY. Need to make an appointment for the measurements.
    • Need to pay off the honeymoon in a few weeks.
    • Beginning of September get our marriage license. I think most are good for 60 days.
    • Give our florist a few updates.
    • We did one cake tasting but we're doing another (fall flavors that haven't come in yet). Need to schedule when we want to do that.
    • Need to schedule a meeting with the DJ to go over things and the ceremony musician.
    • We bought our wedding rings. FI's had to be ordered, so pick that up when it comes in.
    • Working on some DIY projects.
    • I ordered bridesmaid jewelry from Etsy. Earrings came in and look great! Still waiting on the bracelets. Ordered bridesmaid gifts.
    • Need to decide on other people's gifts.
    • Work on the "bride emergency kit" for the day of.

I think those are the big things. Oh, and I made a list of places where I'll have to change my name. That way I won't have to look them up later.

Reading the responses helped tremendously...i can breathe again. :)

I just dropped half the invitations off at the post office this morning and the second half today or tomorrow.  I'm so glad those are no longer hanging around.

Things I'll be focusing on starting now:

-Making the groomsmen ties (to match the bridesmaid dresses)

-Meeting up with the bridesmaids this weekend for alterations

    -Decorate the hangers

    -Finish our wedding website

-Picked out our engagement photos for our engagement photo albums

-Get groom to finish sanding the birdcage card box

    -Start ordering the favors

    -Get started on the menu/program

    -Design water bottle labels

    -Draft up my vows

-Get list of candy/sweets for sweet bar

    -Put together escort card template

    -Check on groom's wedding band

    I think i'm still missing a bunch..

    2. Send out invites (they are all packed up and ready to hit post office!)

    3. Make appointment to start trying out hair styles with stylist.

    4. Make sure I have a place to get ready morning of!

    5. Get together with my once ceremony reader to pick out reading.

    6. Meet with minister this week to discuss ceremony.

I read through everyone's responses and they look great! It seems those lists come in handy and I wish I had used them more through my own wedding! If you're getting married in October you should be booking your hair/makeup artist 30-60 days before your wedding date, earlier is a better because the closer to the date the harder you will find time to get a bridal trail done! There are only so many weekends left and September is a very busy month for us!

Good luck to all of you. Laughing

Wanted to wait to comment on this thread until today because yesterday....I sent out my invites!  YA!!!  It is so exciting to have them out and I hope to get a few RSVPs back soon.  I feel like there is hardly anything left to do now!  For August, we need to:

Finish planning the ceremony and DIY the programs

Talk with all of our vendors to firm up details

    Order FI ring

Put a deposit on groomsmen tuxes and start getting measurements from everyone

Figure out what we want to do for a card box at the wedding

Order bags for favors (candy buffet)

    Order attendants gifts

@elliestan:  For my BM, I am getting these wine glasses/pilsner glasses, these picture frames, and a gift card to a store they like (I am also paying for hair and mu the day-of).  I am getting my ring bearer and flowergirl similar picture frames from the same etsy seller.  We haven't decided on parent's gifts yet and FI hasn't decided what to get the guys yet...boys procrastinate too much

@elliestan:  i ended up getting my girls necklaces (which i thought i'd never give jewelry).  i'm doing pinwheels as decorations, so when i saw these neckalces i thought they were perfect: http://www.stoneandhoney.com/shop/silver-gold-gold-pinwheel-c-66_70.html

i bought my flower girl this necklace in yellow gold: http://www.etsy.com/listing/69122683/pinwheel-necklace-white-gold-plated?utm_source=googleproduct&utm_medium=syndication&utm_campaign=GPS

and as a "thank you for my shower gift" (didn't know you gave gifts until reading the bee...i've thrown 4 showers and have never received a gift) i decided to get the girls this: http://www.maptote.com/shop/philadelphia-winetote/ and a bottle of local wine.

@mshoagie & STBSchmidt: great ideas! my girls' dresses are necklace-inhibiting and my MOH doesn't have pierced ears so it's making this hard! i wanted to get them earrings and maybe a bracelet to wear and then get them some non-wedding related things as well but i'm stuck on trying to find matching pierced & clip-on earrings!

One of my BMs is a Bee and I don't want her to figure out her gift so I'll leave that a secret! Buttt, I have about half of their gifts finished. I finished my table numbers, they're printed, cut, and framed. RSVPs are rolling in. My dress STILL has not come in and I bought it in November!!! Ugh! I need to buy a few more things to complete our centerpieces. I bought my shoes but need to get them dyed. Ordered I Spy cards. We need the guys to get measured. It's mostly all details now...

I still haven't decided on a gift for my MOH. I want to get her something pretty that she wouldn't typically spend money on for herself. i love the pretty floral robes that are all over the blogosphere, but the company does not make the robes in plus sizes. WTF? So i am really, really, really undecided. And mr. LK is having a similar issue with his best man and our officiant. We think we have our officiant figured out, but that idea is significantly more than we intended to spend. Argh!

Oh, and I am doing battle with my invitations right now. Apparently the color of paper that was used for my invites is exclusive to the paper company that I ordered the invites from, which is 50 minutes from my house. I need 20 4 bar note cards, and now I will have to get up early tomorrow and run an errand to the paper store so that I can finish the dang invites. And our calligrapher f'd up 3 envelopes, which I didn't realize until a few days after we picked them up. Mr. LK dropped off new envelopes and the list of f'ups last night, and we are hoping for a fast turnaround on these last 3. I want to get these invites done, and it's really bugging me that we're hitting so many bumps with them.

Right now I am ready to be done with this wedding crap. I am so tired of it.
