It is so weird when bees just drop off the face of the earth.  I liked her!

I hate that too... so many people would die to be bee's and would update constantly... it makes me upset when you get to know one and they stop updating.

I get upset too but you've got to be understanding.  Things come up and lives change.

I wish there was a reason though.

I just wondered about her yeaterday. I hope she is well, would have liked to hear more about her plans.

There was also a Disney bride once and she disapeared, I still wonder if we will ever get to see her wedding.

I guess we need to realize that the bees are all people and volunteering, so sometimes things happen which prohibit them from blogging as reguarly as they would like. Mr. Mango came back after a hiatus so maybe Dew drop will too!

Her wedding month is september, so I'd guess she's gotten married and is waiting for her pro pics? Pro pics always take awhile to get the disk in your hands, plus it's the holidays, which are tough to wrap your recaps in to. :(

Yeah I was just going to say what Mrs. Dorsay explained. I know photography can take sooo long! maybe that's why it looks like she's gone

There was a similar post on this a week or so ago, more related to Mr. Mango, but the same idea. I agree it is kind of disappointing that some bees disappear especially because it is such a coveted position.

I hope all is well with her and that we'll hear from her soon, but if she has chosen not to update us for a reason, I hope we can all be sensitive to the fact that there are some things that some people might not want to share (or where updating their blogs might not be their first priority), whether they are Bees are not.

@slicey: I think you are referring to Miss Flip Flop? She left right after eharmoney bought this site for personal reasons.

I know the old Miss Flipflop (actually how I found out about weddingbee)-- I went to law school with her. She got married last January at WDW and it was beautiful! I didn't attend but I followed it on her blog. Her personal wedding blog is www.budgetdisneywedding.blogspot.com :)

I never would have guessed how much my view on weddings would change once I "crossed over."  I really enjoyed planning my wedding and we had an AMAZING day with wonderful photos to show for it, but the all desire and motivation I had of doing recaps on my personal blog have completely disappeared.  Real life has taken over!  Being a family, buying a house, it's what we've been working towards!

So please be understanding of the Bees.  It's a huge responsibility and time commitment.  It's always easy to say I would do a better job, but you can never really know unless you've walked in their shoes.  Also remember that the Bees don't owe us anything.  They're kind enough to volunteer and let us follow along, sneaking peeks into their lives but they're not required to do anything.  Their lives, families and jobs come first.

There are some really insightful comments above!  Sometimes people move on after a wedding, and sometimes there are personal reasons why someone doesn't want to update a public blog.

We've been in touch with Mrs. Dewdrop, and she's safe and sound! :-)  I don't have any insight into what she's been up to, but we'll work with her to get an update on the blog!

i had a personal blog for 2+ years and i had quite a following.. then it all happened at once that i started grad school, my job became more invold and i started dating my FI, then keeping up a blog... just went down on my list of  things to do... i needed to do homework, finish these super important task at work and spend as much time with my new b/f!

Things like that just happen.  *nods*

Speaking of missing bees, I really want to see posts from Mrs. Bear Cub.  Her wedding at the camp in Oregon sounded awesome!

I'd really love to write more posts right now myself, but my personal life has gone through a bit of an upheaval after the wedding. :(

My photogs even have the pics ready, but I haven't actually seen them yet!  It's illegal to mail media-related stuff (ie DVDs, CDs) to my office in Chile, so I have to wait until December till I get my hands on the pics!  I haven't even seen pics from guests yet! :(

I'm sure - just like me - Mrs Dew Drop is waiting for the right time to delve into her recaps.  I didn't want to start with a post here, a post there, then wait a month or so before I could write my next recap.

Yay bearcub!  We're totally interested.  I'm sorry about your upheaval, and hope you're ok.  I actually didn't really get the sense at all that you had dropped off... I think you've posted once or twice since the wedding, right?  I was wondering about Mrs Dewdrop because there's just been radio silence.

To other posters, this wasn't meant as a chops-busting thread for missing bees.  I know personal business gets in the way.  The question "where is...?" I think is usually meant in a concerned or curious way, rather than an impatient way.

Congrats to all married bees!  And bearcub, I hope you're doing alright.

Yep, Soon2b, I finished my recaps a few months ago. If you click on my name under the married bloggers list, all my recaps should be there! :)
