hmmm''let me think---well first off I would not do this at all but as long as it's cool with your hubby to be and everyone then go for it. I cant think of anything because all the appropiate songs mention the word "friend" in it and that may be too much chesse for you. It's hard to find a non romantic friend song that you can slow dance to. Not many out there.
Really, is it weird? The only songs I could think of so far are this one called "Friends" by Elton John, but I didn't listen to it all the way through and it seems a little cheesy. Also, "Here comes the sun" just a nice song...And "True Colors."
For the already married ladies, did you dance at all w/ a guy friend the whole night? I'm moving to a diff. country after our wedding, and I know the day of it's hard to really talk to EVERYone there, so this will be the last time I'm seeing my friends for a long time.
I don't think its weird to dance w/ a guy friend - my FI would NEVER care - and if he danced with a female friend of his or mine, I would never care. I have many close guy friends who I've dance w/ (slow and fast) and would never think twice about it.
This reminds me of the thread I posted last night. I don't think it's weird to dance with someone who isn't your husband for one dance.
If you're going to dance with him during a regular dance, when other people are dancing, I don't think it has to be a special song. Are you planning on dancing with your husband for every other slow song that will be playing that night?
At any rate, even if you dance to a romantic song, I don't think it has to mean anything.
I don't have a suggestion for a song, but I don't think it's weird to dance with a guy friend at your wedding at all
Two off the top of my head are I'll be there for you by the Rembrandts and You've got a friend in me from toy story (tho that one might be a little cheesy but cute..)

Hey all, I have this one really good friend who's a guy that's coming to our wedding. I'd like to dance one song with him -not like, an announced dance or anything like that, just "save a space on my dance card" for him. What's a good slow song that would be appropriate for us to have a dance to? I've picked out and requested so many songs for the reception, and most of the slow ones are romantic ones I wanna share w/ FI...but there's gotta be a good "non romantical" song for friends...? (And not "That's what friends are for" b/c that is just too much cheese for me ;) )
