Maybe he could learn Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton? I taught it to myself last year on my ukulele, I think it would be really pretty!

@AmyLew11:  Good question!  We are having a ukulele player for our Maui ceremony and I, too, would love to hear people’s song suggestions.

@FLBlonde93:  This thread just woke me up cuz this may be a possibility for our Maui wedding too! Except most of the songs I want are Hawaiian…

I do have a lot of English ukulele/acoustic songs on my computer. I’ll have a look 😉

Well, there’s always the other option IZ did,  “What a Wonderful World”, but personally, I would look at whatever Jake Shimabukuru does. He’s got some good books out too so your dad can access them easily.

I’ve heard Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” done beautifully in a slower version on uke before.

GOD, I want an uke player at my wedding, but we’re going for a Mexican theme in California, so we’re going for Spanish guitar.

@lovelyhulagirl33:  Tell us what  songs you find! 🙂

@JackiBean:  That is going to be our first dance song set to ukulele.

Anyone who doesn’t enjoy ukulele music will find my wedding annoying, but I am so excited to be having authentic Hawaiian music.  It’s such a blessing to get married in Maui and I want to do it right!

@AmyLew11:  Just out of curiosity, are you looking for strictly instrumental or will he be singing as well? 🙂

@FLBlonde93:  Why don’t you do the traditional Hawaiian wedding song?

Or “Tiny Bubbles” by Don Ho? I die over that song all the time. Although it would be a little strange for walking in…

What about Jack Johnson’s “My Little Girl”? That’s a really sweet one. And Jack Johnson and Hawaii go together like Oahu and garlic shrimp.

@lovelyhulagirl33:  He sings too, so whatever I prefer. I am about to google that song right now!

@JackiBean:  I don’t know the traditional Hawaiian wedding song, but I am looking that up now.  Those all song like amazing suggestions!

As always, you ladies are fabulous and so helpful!

@AmyLew11:  I just thought of another one…maybe Your Song by Elton John? I heard an instrumental on guitar that sounded super sweet, I’m sure it could be done on uke as well!

@AmyLew11:  I think is is womderful that you are including your future father in law and that he is in the top 100.  That is both special and really cool!
