Just curious because I am 5'2 and back in 2007 before I started working out I weighed close to 160 but then I got engaged and started going to the gym and watching what I ate and went down to 130 and today I am 119 lbs! I don't work out that much anymore because I feel I don't need to! Has anyone else stopped working out after they reached their goal weight? I have been working out for over 4 years but for the past 2 months I have been slacking off, I like the # on the scale, so I think why bother, even though I know it's good for me! My usual weight is 125 since 2008 and since I stopped working out I don't know if it is because I am eating less than before becaue I am scared to gain weight but I have lost 6 lbs and now weigh 119! Anyone else slack off after they reach their goal weight?
In my teens I weighed 7 stone 12 (110 pounds), then this increased to about 116-122 in my late teens. The heaviest I've been was 142,which was earlier this year. I'm 5'7".
I'm currently dieting and have lost 14 pounds to date, bringing my weight down to 126 pounds. I aim to reach 120 pounds and stick there.
That sounds small-ish for my height, but I have a petite bone structure and this is the weight that suits me best, and I still have curves (my 34D boobs never shrink lol)
@barbie86 Lucky you! I am a 36B but I think I look great the way I am! I wear a size 4-6 and my co-workers and friends can't believe how good I look today because before I was a size 12! I don't want to weigh any less than 119, I have surpassed my goal weight for me at 33 yrs old!
I'm 6' tall, and after I had pneumonia way back when I as 19 years old, I weighed only 170lbs. :D
The heaviest I ever weighed was last year, I blew up to 250lbs.
Then I lost weight and was down to 210lbs last Christmas (some of that was thanks to my failing gallbladder too). After surgery I majorly slacked-off... AAAAANNNDD now I'm back up to 240. Sigh. (I'm 27 years old.)
My ultimate goal is 180. I go to the gym about twice a week; I'm trying to get up to going 4-5 times a week. I'm gonna keep trying!! :)
I'm 5'4 and at 19 I weighed in at 155 lbs. My friend lent me French Women Don't Get Fat and within 2 months I was at 130. I moved to Europe where I walk a ton and bam 113. I'm at 120 now.
I'm 5'5" Pre baby: 98 lbs, post baby: 115 lbs, currently: 165 lbs, would like to be 135 lbs. Once I reach that goal I won't watch my weight or try to lose anymore at all I'll just try and maintain it. Though Im not super concerned with losing the weight either just would like to for more energy.
I've always been on the larger side. At my heaviest, I was 88.5kg (195lb) after a really bad breakup about five years ago. At my lightest, I was 70kg (154lb) in India about four years ago. I'm about 76kg (167lb). I'd like to get back to 70kg and maybe even down to 63kg, but I'm quite comfortable in my skin really.
I've got an hourglass figure so I think I carry my weight well and I stayed a 34F at both my heaviest and lightest weights. My curves just become a little more extreme as i lose weight.
I'm 5"3 and 27, currently am the heaviest I've ever been, 79kg
when I was 19 I was 49kg
i got lazy and eat bad food
The lightest I've been (since being full grown) was 104, I think, heaviest around 155, currently 135, I think I look the best at about 120, but my goal is just to stay around 130 since that's what I wrote on my driver's liscence, back when I weighed 140 ;)
ETA I'm 5'6"
I am 5'7 and have always been slim, i am currently 6 months pregnant and weigh 130lbs. My pre pregnany weight was 112lbs . My lowest weight was when i was 15 and struggling with anorexia. i was a shocking 65-70lbs.
my lightest adult weight was 98 lbs, my highest 119 lbs, and my average weight is 105 lbs. I am 5' 1".
I am 5'2 as well..
my heaviest weight was 120?!
my lightest weight is between 95-100.. I constantly struggle with my weight.. I know.. I know
i am not heavy or chubby but when I was little, my mom would say "you gained weight" or "your thighs or butt look big"
so I always think I am chubby.. Never skinny enough
I got pretty thick in college (too much piza and late night snacks!), 20 lbs heavier than I was now at 153! Now I'm around 134 but I want to be at 127! I'm 5'6" and work out 4-5 x's a week.
heaviest ; 360
lightest as an adult: 203.
currently: 215-218 4 months post partum.
My lightest weight was about 3/4 years ago, I was 98 lbs. Im currently at my heaviest at 117. I'm 5'1
I'm 5'8"; my heaviest as an adult was probably about 155; my lightest was 122 (Stress-induced, and WAY too thin). My "happy" weight is 130 or so.
I'm 5'9, as an adult my lightest weight was 115lbs and my heaviest was 145lbs. I am now at my natural weight of 120lbs (I don't really exercise and I eat normally).
@MRS-K: Awesome job on your weight loss!
I'm 5'7" at my heaviest I was 175lbs (maybe a few pounds more), now I'm around 138 lbs (lowest 135lbs). Eating before bed and drinking tons of sugary soda is what did me in, as soon as I stopped doing those things the weight came right off.
I'm 5'1". I don't weigh myself, so I'm just guessing, but my lightest "adult" weight is probably 100lbs (at 18-19), heaviest is 120, although that was midday at the doctor's, so I don't believe it (but can't prove otherwise, haha).
Anyone else slack off after they reach their goal weight?
For me it is more like transitioning from weight loss to maintenance. I'm definitely not working out for an hour every single day, but I do still walk to work and take a dance class once a week for 1 1/2 hrs.
Height is 5'10, LW is 145, HW is 177 (yeaaaah... still can't believe that happened to me), CW is 155. Don't really want to go any lower, size 6 looks fine on me. I've been logging all my food and counting calories for 6 months.
5'5"
Currently 134 pounds.
Lightest weight - 121 pounds, 3 years ago.
Usually stable between 125-128
Heaviest: 150, about 7 years ago, before changing my diet and discovering gluten intolerance that made me gain weight... Well, actually got to 158 while pregnant last year.
Now: 1 year after giving birth, not able to lose the last 6-9 pounds to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. Really frustrating.
I'm 5'5". I don't fluctuate much (yet?) but my heavest was 140 and my lightest (during a period of extreme sickness) was 95. I tend to hover right around 125.
I'm 5'7. the lightest I remember as an adult was 137, after I got incredibly sick abroad and couldn't eat anything for like 4 days, lol, and was also in a part of rural Brazil where they were shocked by my being a vegetarian and I basically only ate rice and beans for 5 weeks straight. The heaviest was 173, after dh and I got our first puppy and I felt guilty going to the gym when I could be playing with him. My wedding weight was around 155, and that was pretty good for me, I'd prefer 145 but I'm working on it...I've gained a bit of weight since the wedding so 155 is my goal for now!
@MRS-K: In 2007 I was 100-103, in 2011 I was 145-150. I am 5'2.5".
My goal weight is 115, I don't care to ever go down to 100 again.
I am 5'6 with a larger frame and big boobs... My highest weight- summer of 2009 was 264. I currently weigh 168. I am to surpass my lowest adult weight of 150 to get to 140/145- super skinny for me.
I'm 5'2 highest was probably 132. Lightest 110-115. I'm normally around 125. I'd LOVE to be 115 but it's just so hard for me to lose weight.
I'm 5'8" with an athletic build. I've always been in sports or some other activity: ballet, other dance, yoga, softball, soccer, Judo, cycling, swimming, running, pilates, weight training... something.
As an adult, my largest was 225. I was about a size 16 and that much weight was not attractive on me. At my smallest, I was 170, size 12, and I looked really good. Ideally, one day, I'll get down to 150 or so. I got to 170 right before going to Rome for a summer, so I came back between 175 and 180 and mostly stayed there for the next few years.
Right now, I'm 8.5 months pregnant, so I'm up to 210 from about 180 or so when I got pregnant. I look fine at 180, but I can't shop anywhere I want, so hopefully after the baby comes, I'll work my way back to 170 or 175.
It shouldn't be too hard between breastfeeding, getting back into running (I've already scheduled my first 5k in March and am looking out for a good half marathon, and getting back into teaching group fitness. I honestly have too much muscle mass (and boob) to really ever get below maybe 140 or so, but my goal is 150.
I don't have any pictures of my at my heaviest, but here I am at 212 the first time I got married.

At my thinnest:

At my wedding (probably about 178 or 180)

I'm 5'6". My lightest was 73lbs, my heaviest was about 170. Currently sitting at 130 (and have been at this weight, give or take 5 lbs for 10+ years), and plan to be 120-125 for the wedding in 9 months (though I'll be doing some intense weight training, so I may not drop the 10 lbs but I will be shedding inches)
Im 5'1" Lowest high school 110. Highest 170. Now 125. I reached my goal weight over a yr but still run 1-2 miles every other day and weight train.
At my full height (5'5") my heaviest was 154 lbs (in 10th grade) and my lightest was 122 lbs (about 8 months ago), now I'm 127.
In my daydreams I get down to a little below 120 (such that my "heavy" weight during the day is 120, but I might be a little less first thing in the morning or whatever.) Maybe...
I'm 5'11 and my heaviest was 150 or 155 my junior year of high school when I was studying a ton, eating snacks, and getting through my AP tests right before applying to college. I've never exercised a ton. My lightest adult weight has been 130-132 in college when I never had time to eat. I'm currently about 145 but I'm at my most muscular and fit of my life, so very happy!
Edited to say- this was before the holidays. After today I'm probably more like 148! But I'll get back there once the vacation is over.
I'm 5'2 and the heaviest I've been was 73kgs when I was about 15 years old. I then got an intestinal ulcer and started losing a bit of weight. That motivated me to start eating healthy, and I lost about 25kgs in a year from eating a lot of salads and vegetables and cutting out sugared drinks and junk and snack foods, and eating less, walking to school, and doing sit ups and pilates before bed
. When I was 17 I started suffering from anxiety, so I started taking anti depressants. I lost my appetite and dropped down to 41kgs
I then put on weight and was about 48-50kgs. THEN, I decided to go to university, and started eating badly again GRR!!! I started going to the gym at the beginning of this year and my weight went from 61kgs to 50kgs, BUT then I stopped going because of uni stress, exams, assignments, and tiredness
I'm now about 58kgs, but I'm going to start going to the gym again and get down to 48kgs again
EDIT: I just realised I should probably convert this to lbs.
Highest: 161lbs. Lowest: 90lbs Current: 128lbs Ideal/Goal weight: 105lbs
My heaviest was 237 lbs, I think, I didn't look for chances to get on scales. At 5'4", today I'm 127 lbs and still working on dropping a few more.
A PP mentioned a food journal. That was absolutely it for me.
I'm definitley not slacking; still working out 4-5 days a week and minding my diet. I know that the work I put into getting here will be undone otherwise, and I invested some $$$ in a new wardrobe at my current size and donated my old clothes; there's no going back!
Highest weight was 175lbs, and my current/lowest adult weight is 112lbs, and I am 5'3".
