this is my first time writing a post for some help. I’ve been browsing this forum a lot to prepare my destination wedding in next week!
I am very excited and trying to get last minute items down such as guestbook signs, table numbers, etc.
I bought a log as for my guestbook, I wanted something special and bought this super cute log with drawings with our initials on it from Etsy.
I am trying to be creative and instead of saying “please sign our guestbook” I want something else but can’t think of anything >.<
Can anyone please help? I can just do “please leave advice and well wishes for the new Mr.& Mrs.” as well but seems little length. I am trying to fit in 4×6 board in picture frame that’s why…
Any ideas would be really appreciated…and I thank you so much in advnace!!!!
Please sign our guestbook below. By doing this, you agree to dance the electric slide and funky chicken. I’m sorry, this is not negotiable.

Sign below. If you choose NOT to sign below, you will not be allowed in. Them’s the rules.

We love you, you love us – please sign the guestbook below so we can feel good about ourselves.

Sign below, eat some cake, and enjoy our wedding!

Welcome! We’re so glad you came.
We’d love to have you sign your name,
And write perhaps, a line or two
by which we can remember you.
Then, when our wedding day has passed,
Our memories of this day will last
For when we look at it we’ll see
Kind words from friends & family!
PS I didn’t compose this myself. Gotta love google.

Cutesy poems blow, IMHO. As a guest I appreciate straightforward instructions.

I agree with MoonlitMagnolia. There’s no need to be cute. It’s a guestbook. Not everything needs a Pinterest-worthy sign.

It’s really quite enough to say “Please sign our guestbook”. There’s no need to confuse the issue under a morass of euphemism.
Also, “cute” poems tend to want to make people puke on the guestbook, not sign it.

I like pinkksnow‘s play-on words while still being obvious with what you want!

I love what julies1949 wrote! I’m so over cutesy poems.
