At the salon I work at we usually do the hair first and then the makeup. You don't want all that hairspray and stuff all over your freshly painted face.
My hairdresser and makeup ladies both said 'do your makeup first' because if you do anything that frames your face, your makeup artist won't be able to fully get all the crevices of your face (we also had airbrush foundation so mabye that's why?)
I had my hair done first and then used a face cleansing cloth from MAC to wipe off all of the hairspray left over on my face before she started the makeup. I definitely recommend that because otherwise the makeup sticks to the hairspray on your face and makes your skin look crinkly.
My makeup artist told me that I must have my hair done first so the makeup can accent my face as well as the hair style. (Ladysue, I am also having airbrushing).
Which order should one get their pampering done? Will hair get in the way during make up or with hair mess up the make up?
My hair dresser said it doesn't matter but I'm sure there are some expirenced brides out there who can help!
