Lamb Biryani. We made a big vat of it this weekend and have been working our way through all week – the perks of having an Indian fiancé!

Fresh pasta tortellini (either chicken and chorizo stuffed, or a cheese and basil stuffing) with a fresh sauce.

It’s quick and easy – our house is being plumbing in for central heating, so the place is a mess!

I made my version of “Engagement Chicken” last night. It’s a recipe my grandma always made with a few twists. Throw a chicken in the pan with farafalle (bowtie) noodles, celery, onions, baby carrots, chicken broth and spray the chicken with Pam Olive oil spray and spice it up with lemon juice, loootsa black pepper, rosemary, thyme, tarragon. It always makes the house smell awesome and the BF thinks it’s fab!
