This is kind of a S/O from the “What’s for Dinner?” threads that come around occasionally. I’ve always been a healthy eater (i.e. NO fast food, NO soda, NO white bread/pasta, tons of veggies, etc) but trying to be even more lately.
For breakfast, I had a handful of fresh cherries and a spoonful of almond butter.
For lunch, I’m having 1/4 cup of almonds, a cup of plain unsweetened yogurt, and fresh cut strawberries and pineapple. YUM!

Thats all your eating? I’d be gnawing on my desk by noon!
I’m having low sodium turkey on whole wheat with 1/4 avacado, lettuce and tomatoes. Also having greek yogurt with fruit and some air popped popcorn as a snack for later.

@Bostongrl25: Yum, that sounds delish!
Hahah well I leave work at 3:00 p.m. and will go home and have hummus and carrots as a snack by 4. Otherwise, yes I’d starve!

I’m eating 2/3 cup of brown rice mixed with the same amount of veggies and some marinated tofu. I’m not a vegetarian, but tofu is just easy to deal with for my lunch protein fix. I also have an apple as a side.

@Bostongrl25: +1. That doesn’t sound like enough food at all.
I am having a protein shake because I was too exhausted this AM to make anything else. Breakfast was a hard boiled egg and yogurt. Dinner will be chicken and veggies.

I wouldn’t be able to survive on what you are eating! That’s waaay too little for me! I am having tuna and brussels sprouts and protein and egg whites pancake.

Wow I’d be starving after 30 minutes. I’m having a salad with strawberries, blueberries, raspberry vinegarette, and a little bit of leftover steak from last night (I wanted to save more, but it was so good I couldn’t). I had some greek yogurt at 10 and will have some carrots around 3 before leaving work at 4:30. I do best when I have little snacks throughout the day so I don’t splurge.

I’m having a chickpea salad with lemon juice, broccoli salad & bulger wheat salad. Sounds bloody awful but tastes delicious!

Mm, salmon and barley salad, mixed with a little parsley, onions, wasabi sauce, and parmesan cheese. Yum yum yum

@FauxBoho: That sounds awesome! I have to get more creative with my lunches… I think I would be looking forward to lunch if I was having that. 🙂
@dancindavinci: That’s how I am too. I get home around 3:45 or 4, and I always have some hummus and carrots so I don’t go crazy on dinner.
@SnoopDog: What’s an egg white pancake?! This is intriguing.

@QueenOfSerendip: not judging just trying to help but you are definately not eating enough food. just curious if you are trying to lose weight and having trouble. sometimes calorie defiecient diets work if they are done the right way, otherwise, your body goes into “starvation mode” and holds onto everything you eat because it isn’t getting enough nutrients.
