What kind of workouts to you do? Mostly yoga – a combination of ashtanga, vinyasa, and hatha yoga but some weight-lifting involved as well.

How often do you workout? 4-5 days per week

What is in your gym bag? Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, brush, chapstick, makeup, extra clothes, yoga mat, yoga strap, and water bottle

What one item can you not live without? My yoga mat

What is your favorite workout? Yoga inversions – headstands currently, but working on handstands

What is your goal? Master my handstand

What is on your fitness wish list? Nothing I’m not currently doing.

Lastly, Post your fitness inspiration (this could be a phrase, a photo, or a person).

What kind of workouts to you do? Pilates or Barre class 2x/week, cardio and/or lifting 3x/week

How often do you workout? 4-5 days per week

What is in your gym bag? My gym is pretty full service so I don’t need to bring much in terms of shampoo, etc. I have face wash, a little makeup, water, extra clothes.

What one item can you not live without? My water bottle!

What is your favorite workout? My gym has a new class that’s a combination of aerobics (for the first half) and pilates (for the second half) I love that it gets my heartrate really moving and I still feel like I’m getting toned/stronger.

What is your goal? Stay fit and get toned. I’m not too concerned about my actual weight, but I’d love to see more muscle tone, especially on my arms!

What is on your fitness wish list? I’d love to do private pilates sessions (tower/reformer/chair) but it’s too expensive for me right now.

Lastly, Post your fitness inspiration (this could be a phrase, a photo, or a person).

@Pappy8:  all of my answers are pretty much identical to yours (right down to the “lip chap”!). However, I wanted to give some feedback on the whey protein. Whey is a byproduct of milk. So, most people who have even a small intolerance to milk will get sick with whey protein… Including me!

I found Paleo Pro protein, and LOVE it. I hate drinking shakes, so I usually dump it in my oatmeal and such. However, it has a great mixture of proteins (egg and beef, I think) that don’t get me sick (no whey or soy), and is naturally processed (protein is somewhere around ~25g per serving).

I get mine on Amazon, and would def rec trying it.

Lastly, my biggest inspiration photos are women with similar bodies as mine, but where I want mine to be physique-wise. Makes the goals that much more attainable and realistic. So, this is my most recent inspiration.

Oh fun!

What kind of workouts to you do? I do Body Pump once a week, Cycling Class or some other form of cardio three times a week

How often do you workout? Ideally, 4 days a week. Sometimes I’m bad and it’s three times.

What is in your gym bag? Facial wipes, hair ties, brush, clothes, shoes, headphones, water bottle

What one item can you not live without? I’m pretty obsessed with my bluetooth headphones. No more cords bouncing when I’m running or on the eliptical!

What is your favorite workout? I love how I feel after body pump

What is your goal? Keep losing weight. I’ve lost 33 pounds since last summer when I started, but I’ve hit a plateau. I would like to lose another 30.

What is on your fitness wish list? A heart rate monitor and/or one of those fitness tracking bracelets

Lastly, Post your fitness inspiration (this could be a phrase, a photo, or a person).

What kind of workouts to you do? I’m doing Wendler’s 5/3/1 with BBB. I’ve started competing in powerlifting and really want to push up my lifts so I can really start to compete with the big girls rather than doing well for a beginner.

How often do you workout? Four days a week. I sometimes squeeze in yoga and usually do some foam rolling on total rest days.

What is in your gym bag? Shorts, sports bra, spare knickers, t-shirt or vest, trainer liners, deadlift socks, weightlifting shoes (Nike Romaleos), plimsolls for deadlifting (non-brand Chucks), shampoo, conditioner, curl cream, face wash, moisturiser, heartrate monitor, towels, brush, comb, box of protein powder, shaker bottle, snack.

What one item can you not live without? Barbells 😉

What is your favorite workout? Squats. I love squats. 😀

What is your goal? To hit at least 250kg in my next competition with a stretch goal of 275kg. (So that would be 95kg, 50kg, 105kg for 250kg and probably 100kg, 60kg, 115kg for 275kg… or thereabouts)

What is on your fitness wish list? A lifting platform and full set of bumper plates at home. (Can’t stretch to the £600ish that would cost at the moment.) ETA: My husband’s building me a platform, though. That’s going up soon!

Lastly, Post your fitness inspiration (this could be a phrase, a photo, or a person).

What kind of workouts to you do? I have four different workouts I go between. I focus on a certain muscle group every day. I looove lifting!

1 – Abs, glutes, hamstrings and 35 minutes of cardio.

2 – Shoulders, back, chest, abs and 35 minutes of cardio.

3 – Abs, squats, deadlifts, step ups and 35 minutes of cardio.

4 – Abs, biceps, triceps and 35 minutes of cardio.

How often do you workout? Four or five days straight then a break day.

What is in your gym bag? Hair ties, bobby pins, shower supplies, deodorant, tennis shoes, water bottle and gym clothes.

What one item can you not live without? MUSIC! As soon as I crank up the heavy metal I’m in the zone!

What is your favorite workout? Right now I would say deadlifts (up to 95lbs goal is 150lbs by May) and dips. I had shoulder surgery in May and I’m finally 100% healed so I’m training hard.

What is your goal? My goal is to start competition lifting. Train insane or remain the same! My husband lifts with me and he’s great at pushing me to my limit! I’m 5’9 and 135lbs for reference. I’m not at all afraid to gain weight if it’s for the sake of lean muscle.

What is on your fitness wish list? My goal is to be able to dead lift 150lbs by May and to do unassisted pull-ups by June.

Lastly, Post your fitness inspiration (this could be a phrase, a photo, or a person).

@Cummins59:  I’m working on my pull/chin-ups at the moment. It’s pitiful that I can push as much as I do and still can’t do more than one and a half (really bad) chin-ups.

@Pappy8:  It makes me snicker every time haha!

@SpecialSundae:  I hear ya! Like I said, with recent shoulder surgery it’s kinda frustrating! It kept dislocating so I had surgery to tighten it up. Now it’s more stable but I can feel when I’m pushing it too hard because it’s still pretty tight. But I’m back to my normal pushups just pulling myself up…my shoulder isn’t having it yet! All in good time!
