I need new songs. 🙂
I need new songs. 🙂
Godsmack is always good. Not sure what kind of music you listen to though.
Lots of Rihanna 🙂 not a bad thought to picture her while working out to her music to further motivation either 😉
Body Work – Morgan Page ft. Tegan and Sara
My Body – Young the Giant (the chorus sums up my every workout haha)
No Church in the Wild – Jay-Z and Kanye West (perfect tempo to jog to for me)
Some Black Eyed Peas (Boom Boom Pow, Ima, Be), LMFAO (I’m Sexy and I Know It, Party Rock Anthem), Missy Elliott – Lose Control, Some Ciara (her fast jams of course), Rihanna, Even some reggae like Sean Paul (Watch Dem Roll, Gimme The Light, Get Busy)
I love listening to salsa music when I work out…”Menea” “Ta haciendo frio” Also, Gasolina, Lean like a Cholo, “Push-it” by Salt-n-Pepa is a must (Stole these songs from my zumba class playlist) but they pump me up!
I love Flo Rida pandora. The songs are always so upbeat and fun!
My most recent obsession is “Jump” by Nelly Fertado and Flo Rida
Some that I can think of off the top of my head that are on mine:
I just added “Can’t Stop Us” by Macklemore. It’s a great workout song!
Ok, I’m a metal chick, I love metal and hardcore music. BUT… BUT… (I hate admitting this. I really do.) Ke$ha and Taylor Swift are on my workout mix. Sigh.
But my last song on my workout mix, is Enter Sandman by Metallica. It’s for the last 6 mins of my workout; because by then, I’m ready to drop, but there’s NO way I’m gonna quit and bitch-out in the middle of Metallica. lol
Another good song is Foo Fighters “Best of You”… it has motivating lyrics and a great drum line.
@LadyMoriarty: Another +1 on that particular Foo Fighters’ song. I have it on my Ipod and love it!!! Here are some other good songs I like to hear:
– “What you know” – TI
– “Jump Around” – House of Pain
– “B.o.B” – Outkast
– “Let’s go!” – Calvin Harris Feat. Ne-yo
– “Titanium”- David Guetta
