I work two jobs… I manage a retail store during normal daytime hours (my 9 hour shifts range from 830-6 or 12-930). I also waitress at a bar 2-3 nights per week in order to help pay for our wedding! In exchange, he always takes care of the house and makes sure that the laundry and dishes are done and he is constantly picking up after me. Yesterday at the bar, we had a Thanksgiving pot luck for the bar regulars and the staff… I always make these awesome fruit cookies for just about every holiday so that’s what we decided to bring for the pot luck. We can never seem to get enough of them when I make them (and this time around, they were for everyone else so we only got one each). We ended up with 2 extra cookies that didn’t fit on the trays that we brought so I just left them undecorated in the kitchen. After the pot luck, I had to work the night shift at the bar. He came to pick me up from work at 2 am (he always drives me so I don’t have to walk to my car late at night by myself from the bar district and because he knows I’m usually exhausted, especially on the days I work both jobs). While I was getting ready for bed, he brought me this plate that had the last two cookies. He frosted them and decorated them with the leftover fruit to surprise me when I got home for a quick late night snack before bed!! <3 <3 <3

FI is so wonderful. We went out for dinner today as it was snowing, and he was scraping the precipitation off my car before I even started the car. There are so many good things!

He likes to send “love” emails out of the blue and today was no exception.  🙂

nessa.ana:  It’s so unhealthy, but I totally love it now and then. I try not to drink soda very often but I just can’t pass up a fountain soda!

I mentioned to him earlier today that I was going to soak one of my fingers in hot water for 20 minutes later tonight (I have a hangnail that’s been bothering me and read that that was one way to help ease some of the pain). I had forgotten about it and got in bed after dinner to do some reading. FI comes in with a bowl of hot water and tells me it’s soaking time. I love when he takes care of me 🙂

I am leaving next week for EU but he will join me a few days later. He already set up my phone so I can use it overseas, put all of friends episodes on the ipad for the 8hrs flight, and ordered a few items I mentioned I wanted to gift to my sister. He is so wonderful to me

He had to work all day, but we’re on Thanksgiving break so I’m just laying around being lazy. I was going to meet one of my professors around 4 which was when he was suppose to get off. I got home about 6 and he was asleep. He kinda woke up when I got home and I asked when we were going to eat and he responded. I sat on the lovesac and browsed the bee. An hour later I get a text and it’s from him asking if I was okay. I sat up and freaked him out because he didn’t even realize I was home haha. It’s not much, but he was just checking on me! And it was pretty funny since he responded to me when I got home.

I finished a stressful quarter today and texted FI that I wish Noodles and Company delivered because that’s all I wanted for dinner…but immediately after getting home I changed into pajama pants and started drinking wine and didn’t want to go back out.

He got home a minute later, but then headed back out again to get me the dinner I wanted from Noodles 😀

my fi spoils me rotten :$.. i work 12hour shifts, so sleeping most of the afternoon today, I woke up to my car started, and ICE and snow all scraped off, my “supper” and all nightly snacks packed and ready. leave the house clean and laundry done.  he used to work out of town, and its amazing the difference little things like this make in my day. instead of rushing to work, i woke up so happy and relaxed and started my shift off right!  thanks for starting this thread!! love to gush about him <3
