I just had makeup done for my wedding and a boudoir photo shoot. I used two different makeup artists and they both used MAC pretty much exclusively.

The best place to ask this question is makeupalley.com. They know tons and tons and tons about makeup!

i love mac too. i don't have sensitive skin, just really really really dry skin in places and i used their tinted moisturizer that has an spf 15. i think clinique has makeups that are hypoallergenic (sp?!) however, i am allergic to them, go figure!

I love Smashbox, NARS, and MAC.

Make sure you're setting any liquid foundation with a powder, that should help control oil and shine.

I've heard MAC is great.  My MUA for my wedding day used Youngblood - it's a mineral makeup but I loved it.

I've heard really good things about Sephora's Makeup Forever line, but haven't tried it myself yet.  I'm pretty sure the MUA that I booked for my wedding uses it.

Also, make sure whatever you pick has no SPF--it reflects light and will make your face look lighter in pictures.

I have the same issues and the bees suggested I check out Sephora. I had a consultation and I walked around with it the remainder of the day (about 6 or 7 hours) and instead of oily patches I had an overall glow and I didn't notice any itching (I also have very sensitive skin). It provided great coverage as well.

I've found that MAC foundation/powder can look a little cakey on my skin (I have combination skin).  I really like Bare Escentuals for powder but it's pretty light coverage.  For eye shadow, I like MAC and for blush I think the best is NARS.  NARS is a part of Shiseido, which has AMAZING skincare products, so you can't go wrong there. Good luck!

After trying a whole bunch of brands (MAC, Bobbie Brown, Clinique etc), I settled on BareMinerals. LOVE THEM!
