I'm trying to pick a date in 2013 that isn't too cold, too hot, or raining like crazy. lol. I have been reasearching percipatation charts and using weather tools.. but still I think word of mouth works much better!

One of the problems about NC is that the temerature and weather can vary wildly. Just in the past couple weeks it's gone between 20 and 80 degree weather. And rain can be just as unpredicatble. Snow in October or March? Both are possible and have happened. Snow followed by 80 degree weather a few days or week later? This also happens.

I don't know whether you live in NC or not, but if so, you're probably aware of this. I found a quick chart that shows the average temerature (with highs and lows) for each month of the year for Raleigh: http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USNC0558

I think April is probably best just for heat because one you get too close to the NC summer, you're just going to swelter and want to die. If you're outside, that it. It also looks like April has the lowest average precipitation, so hopefully that will work in your favor as well.

    Good luck!

We had a May wedding & loved it! However, both are risky for rain. We are wedding photographers & those are the months we usually have rainy weddings. Just have a back up plan!

May, September, and November (the driest) are the least amount of precipitation. I looked it up.

I vote April, because May will probably be very warm and could be uncomfortable for an outdoor wedding.

It's so hard to judge with our wonky nc weather, but I would vote early May, late May could be very hot.  I keep thinking about that really bad cold snap we got in April a few years back (2008 maybe??)  It was crazy cold, like teens for the lows and 30-40's for the highs.  Does anyone remember that?
