Don't have much time left to wedding and would appreciate suggestions for best , easiest to use wedding guest list planners out there on the web?

Also, when should wedding invites go out?

we've been using google docs and it's worked well. i just invited the moms and the FI to edit the doc and they fill it out themselves. this way, there aren't a million iterations of the guest list.

you can also export the .xls file to your desktop and use it to make labels, placecards, etc.

I have also been using Google docs. My mom and bridesmaids love that they can see and edit things. I also use it to keep track of vendors I have contacted.

Add another Goggle Docs user to the list. Once I got FI use to it, it has been wonderful. I love that I can print an updated version at any computer! We also have been using the Chat, Calendar, and Picture features! It has been better than any wedding planner I have seen so far.
