@LeonardLady:  Well, for me an argument is where we have a discussion where we don’t agree. We dont yell, name call, blame or say hurtful things when we argue. It’s just a different oF opinion.

Fighting is the opposite. Fighting is where we yell, scream or name call.

We don’t fight often, but we do argue sometimes..

This is just the way we see it though.

@Brooke1226:  +1. Argument= Back and forth disagreement, but clean, not mean, not bitching each other out. Fight= Someone’s going to get hurt.

Agree with PPs! Fighting usually involves me crying, haha. Arguing is just disagreeing, sometimes more or less firmly, but without actually getting too emotionally involved.

@LeonardLady:  Arguing is disagreeing on the issue at hand. You can argue about one topic at a time. Fighting is when it escalates to something emotional like name calling, anger, and resentment.

Judging by pps definitions (which I agree with) I’m not sure Fi and I have ever fought. We’ve never screamed back and forth at each other or called each other names. We do disagree and discussions can get rather tense but the only time I’ve ever yelled at FI while upset is to get his attention and make him get a handle on himself (aka stop throwing things) and I’ve only really had to to that twice. We usually talk things out when they come up and we don’t bottle things up until we explode.
