I would think that 8 weeks would be ok. I just would get them out any later than 12 weeks (3 mos.).

I have gotten some back longer then 6 months and one wedding I sent a gift but didnt go to is pushing a year w/o a thank you! With that said, I think 3 months should be the max.  I do think people understand if they arent received super quick, but 1/2 a year to a year is kinda pushing it I think.

I think you’re good, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think you should be fine.  I figure if they’re out within 3 months of the wedding, then you’re fine.  My mom seemed to think we should have them sent out within 2 weeks of the wedding date!  Yikes!  She was all upset that they weren’t done yet and I was thinking "Hey, we just got back from our honeymoon!"  Oh well…

We went to a wedding in December and we still haven’t recieved a thank you card. It’s my fiance’s cousin and she’s young (22), working, and just graduated from college in June so we are cutting her some slack. Last I heard, they were only opening one gift a day, so they may not have opened our card yet!
