IPod Nano for running - so sick of dragging my phone around on an armband!

Also, I have a Kindle and it rocks :)

Books, mostly. I really want a copy of "The Road" (Cormac McCarthy) and "A Brief History of the Dead" (Kevin Brockmeier), but there's nothing I'm absolutely dying to have. I've hinted to DH that jewelry is always nice, but money has been tight for us this year so I don't think that'll happen.

I don't really have much I want or need for Christmas but I wouldn't turn down a piece of jewelry from my husband :) Doesn't have to be expensive but I kind of got it in my head that it'd be sweet to have something that was a gift on our first Christmas together (as a married couple).

these were the only thing I asked for specifically.  Everyone keeps asking me for a list but I can't come up with anything.

@CorgiTales: I'm in the exact same boat as you.

I really can't think of anything I want or need, but something to mark our "first married Christmas" would be great.

I'm just happy my sister will be visiting us for Christmas and what I really want is experiences.

Especially since we're only in the UK for 2-4 years and I want to make the most of our proximity to Europe.

I didn't ask for anything, but I'm quite sure DH got a decoration for my Christmas Village that I'm starting to build up. I saw a few yesterday that I was going to buy and he said, No! lol.

Well, as long as we're talking dream gifts, I want a 13" MacBook Air. I travel a lot for work and my current laptop weighs about a zillion pounds, is 4 years old, but works just fine (thus I can't justify getting a new one -- dammit! lol). It's way expensive though, so if I want one I'll have to save up and get it myself!

I am hoping that DH is working on the braclet I want him to make.  I just pray that he doesn't do what he did last year, shop at CVS pharmacy at 5pm Christmas Eve.

I'd love some new Tory Burch flats. My mom just asked me what I wanted and I didn't have the heart to tell her because they cost almost $200.

@PinkMagnolia: Oh... I do want a pair of those as well. Too bad that DH thinks I have way too many pairs of shoes already. Maybe that'll be my gift to myself when I get my first paycheck (that is after I get a job...)

@stillme: Ditto! My "reach for the stars" gift is a new laptop because my current one was $400 3 years ago and struggles to do some stuff I want it to do. But it works fine for most things, so I can't justify spending the money myself.

But other than that, I'm not a big Christmas list kinda girl. I could use some new sweaters/work shirts since I'm getting sick of wearing the same ones over and over.

Well my parents bought me a washer and dryer for my new house, so those are obviously big gifts, but I really want a Kindle Fire too.  I think my SO is going to get it for me.

Food. Wonderful, delicious food. Something that comes with courses and wine pairings.

It's not what I'm getting, but if it were up to me that's what I'd get. :)

I bought the 2nd book in this series a while back at a local thrift store and fell in love with the story & characters.  I didn't realize at the time that there was a whole set, so I'm hoping to get some more of the books for Christmas:Whats the main item on your holiday wish list? : wedding christmas hannukah gifts Bookset

$ for my weddingLaughing but I doubt that is going to happen so I would like a nice crystal vase. My FI is always bringing me roses but I don't have a good vase to display them in.

@All In: I'm not much of a hint-dropper at all, although I know that he asked my best friend for ideas so she probably told him. If I had to guess I'd say I'm getting something on or similar to one of the things on my pinterest wish list, which is comprised almost entirely of dogs, nice watches, and jewelry. I know I'm not getting a dog so I'm going to guess I'm getting either a watch or jewelry, either of which would be great!

i woud REALLY REALLY like to upgrade m e-reader. mine is over 3 years old and i would like to get the sony pocket edition because it would just fit my hand better but i know that that is unrealistic.

another thing that i would really love is to have my "lucky rock" cut and set into a ring. this is going to take some time though to find someone to actually cut it so that is not realy realistic eather.

My HUGE want and the only thing i put on my christmas list is a dog.

Hmm... I'm not very picky but my FI absolutely MAKES me give him a list of specific things otherwise he has no idea - typical guy! These are some of the things I generally want but would be happy with any of them.

Kindle Fire or Nook Color (main thing I asked for)

A headboard/footboard for our bed (I can't stand how it moves around on our wood floors)

    New books

    Snow boots

My reach for the stars gift is a new laptop. Specifically a macbook....I seriously need one. My laptop is on its last leg, and likely to crash any day now. I just have no idea how I am going to afford one.

The only thing I asked for was a coat. I only have one, and it gets pretty cold here.

@vetgirl: We bought a mattress in a box from Wal Mart about a year ago and it is super comfortable. A king pillowtop is only $300! http://www.walmart.com/ip/Slumber-1-10-Pillow-Top-Mattress/14225189?findingMethod=rr

    For us:

I want new comforter - my dad is getting us one.

I want new sheets and duvet - his mom is getting us.

    For me:

I won't turn down a pairs of designer shoes or purse, but I already got them prior to wedding, not feasible to get new ones.

Cashmere sweater or nice coat. Not sure what husband will get. I put a limit of $200 on the gift, so it's enough for 1 or 2 sweaters. The coat I like is $400s. Money doesn't go very far these days. :(

Some underarmour cold gear (the compression tights with color blocks and the compression turtle neck in the matching color). It might help get my rear in gear for outside exercising since it's so freaking cold up here. Those are expensive though, so they're a dream gift. Maybe Mr.ND will spoil me :-)

I'd also love amazon or itunes gift cards to get more books to read on my kindle and to get more music to work out with.

FI and I bought our wedding bands recently, so that was kind of our present to each other. He also just helped me buy a laptop (I was going to wait until January, but we hit a good deal on a HP computer--750 GB hard drive, a good amount of memory, nice battery life, and other good computer specs that I can't remember, for $549). We have set a $50 limit for each other. My parents are helping us pay for our wedding, so I said that I didn't really want a lot for Christmas. I asked for Just Dance 3 for the Wii, and a Photo Shop program (we saw one at CostCo that was really reasonable).
