Well, the fact that we’re having the wedding at FI’s grandpa’s barn and the reception at my parent’s house is very exciting (they’re extremely beautiful locations and, well, free haha). But I’m mostly excited about all the DIY projects I’m getting to do with my mom and my best friends. <3

I would say I’m excited about the trampoline I’m trying to buy as part of the fun and games we’ll be having (it’s a kid friendly brunch reception but mostly I am a 12 yr old trapped in a grownup’s body) but apparently FI thinks that’s not in our wedding budget for some reason? Haha I’ll change his mind… 😉

What about you??

I cant’t wait for my mehndi on Thursday. I love henna/mehndi designs so much, and the style that I’ve picked with my artist is so beautiful and intricate.

My food, specifically my sushi roller. Can’t wait to eat! And seeing my FI in a suit, since it happens so rarely.

axia08:  That sounds beautiful!  We’re having a barn wedding too.

abeautybride:  The obvious answer is seeing my FI’s face when I walk down the aisle and exchanging vows buttttt as for the party…the FOOD!!!  We’re having smoked BBQ delicacies and they’re roasting a pig ouside the barn!  Our dessert table will be gourmet assorted cupcakes and assorted candy.  It’s ironic, b/c I probably won’t even eat that much since I’m wearing a damn corset!!

i am excited to see my planning come together in one amazing day. all the notes, pictures, researching, conversations, shopping, DIY’s, food tastings, all conceived and decided upon at different times, all viewed and experienced at once. plus that and my FI seeing me in a dress. i NEVER wear dresses! 🙂

I’m excited about our guests. This is a smaller wedding so every single person who’ll be coming means a great deal to us.

LOL. My wedding happened already, but I had a glowstick flash mob and everytime I would talk to the special people doing it (it was top secret to most of the guests). I would get excited. I choreographed it myself and my husband mixed the music. We even designed the jumbo glowstick stickers ourselves!! Very DIY!

Our music! We have an authentic bluegrass string quartet for the ceremony/cocktail hour with his amazingly talented cousin singing a song in the ceremony. then we have an amazing funk band for the reception with a full horn section.

The food! And our stunning venue! Can’t believe so many people are willing to travel to our wedding, I hope they enjoy the location as much as we do. I’m excited to have our families all together in one spot for a weekend, we don’t get to see them often. Also excited to start doing some DIY stuff 🙂
