I would really like a troll imput on this one :) I've wondered the same thing, but honestly I think some people just get a kick out of stiring up the ant bed.
Go to 4chan and browse /b/ and your answer should become pretty apparent.
It doesn't make any sense to me, I mean, frankly, I hate arguing on the internet for any purpose. I wish I never did it. To go and seek that out, then sit back and revel in it all day just seems crazy to me.
I'm totally confused too. I googled it...check this out!

I've seen many posts saying people are tolls. I get that trolling is just posting a controversial subject, but what's the point in doing that?
1. Who are these people who have time to create an account, come up with some crazy story and post it?
2. What do they do afterwards? I imagine these people just sit back and laugh at all the responses all day? Or do they just post and then leave?
It just seems so pointless and honeslty a little strange.
