Could it be a camelia?

I BELIEVE it is a garden rose. they come in pink too, a lot of poeple use them to replace peonies when they are out of season. They are fairly rare, delicate, and a bit pricey. The Camellia looks very similar too though...
it is a garden rose probably called "Toulouse Lautred" they are usually called "romantica roses" - but they vary in shades...
They are running about few bucks per stem.

I used garden roses in my DIY bouquet . they were a little more pricey but I only ordered 50 for the bouquets. They were WONDERFUL vice and full and smelled amazing. I ordered through fiftyflowers.com and would highly recommend them to anyone! good luck
