I'm in a ponytail today! I'm feeling you, I just did not have the patience this morning! Every now and then I use the clip to the side or in the back, but today, my go-to ponytail prevailed!
Hair elastic and pony tail or I'll pull off a messy bun.
If not that, I have a headband.
Right now, I've got this weird cluster wisp of shorter hair that suddenly grew right in the middle of my grown out bangs. I don't know where it came from, didn't cut it and didn't have any breakage, but its like having an "Alfalfa" in the center of my hairline.
I usually end up with the go-to low ponytail. If it's just the front, then I clip the sides back with some barrettes that I always have with me in case of emergency!

Ponytail, all the way. Except when it's really a mess, and then the tail of it is frizzy and gross. At those times, I just want to throw up my hands and crawl back into bed.
@HoneyBear How do you do the braid up front?! That's super cute and I'd love to do it.
Is it bad that 99% of the time I wear some variation of a pony?!? haha. I'm going to blame it on being in college. Maybe once I grows up I will have grown up hair. If mines really bad I throw on a headband too...cover up some crazy frizzy curls sprouting out.

Or if all else fails I don't worry about it and it looks like a hot mess. I work in a brick warehouse and we've got some humidity issues...if you know what I mean.
I have naturally curly/wavy hair, so even a "messy pony" for me just looks like a hot mess sometimes!
Kinda makes me wanna cut my hair off again, but then I remember that I had to style it just as much and wash it MORE often!
Definitely the pony, dressed up with a scarf if I need extra camouflage.
@honeybear - That's my go to as well!!! It's perfect for my in between washing days!
I feel the need to start this one again today since I had to evoke the braid/messy bun combo this morning! The FI and I worked out last night and after my shower, I thought I'd try to braid my wet hair hoping for some loose waves today. Instead my hair looks crimp-tastic!
I have naturally curly hair and I almost always wear it straight. If I am feeling particularly lazy or its not styling the way I want it to, flip my head over into the sink and start all over only this time I throw some gel and bobby pins in it and call it dandy. My FI always makes fun of me because I have 2 variations of a crappy day for me, 1 -my hair is curly and 2 - I wear my glasses and I always make it a point to not wear "curly hair and glasses" thats my super crap day
I have bangs which are crazy annoying when they're dirty - I like to wash my hair ever other day - so I just pin them back. Sometimes I get fancy and make them a braid that I pin down, othertimes it's just ugly.
i'm a ponytail girl myself...i snaz it up by either going with a high one, or a low one...that's the extent of the excitement.
I do a pony or throw it in an octopus clip. I have zero hair style so 99% of the time I just wear it down parted in the middle

I'm growing my bangs out, so lately, everyday is a bad hair day! But yay for pinning the bangs back and a ponytail!

Ugh, you know those days you let your hair dry naturally (cuz you're lazy) and it just looks like crap??
Mine's in a french braid today but still looks kinda crappy. It must've dried goofy. A sloppy up-bun ponytail isn't really nice enough for work, either--it just looks crappy with nice boots, jeans, and a nice shirt! I don't know how to class one up, lol.
What do you do with it? last week I wore one of these:
