Whats your Cake Topper? Pictures Please!! There are some great funny ones out there! Are you traditional or comical! Can't wait to see!! 
I love my cake topper! I got it on Etsy, from NakedPeggies and she did an AMAZING job! I love them. She had them done in a day!! I recommend her to everyone that wants a unique topper. She was very reasonable and wonderful to work with!

I don't have a picture b/c it's at my parents' house in Georgia, but we're using the topper that was on my parents' and my mom's parents' cake! I heart sentimental!!
Aww I love how avdillard0110 and squashcakes are using a cake topped passed down! I never thought of that! I should see if my mom still has hers!! It's a nice thing to pass down to generations!!

The birds are the cutest! I love that!
We won't have a topper, as our cake design doesn't work for that. I'm kind of sad about it, but I love the cake so much I can't complain too much!
MissStellar: yours looks adorable. Mine is the same as Mrs. Radish. I wanted a Mii caketopper but I know that $300 for one is something I would regret later.

I got mine on ebay and loved the simplicity of it. Too bad we can't find it now, it got lost after the reception.

I loved ours--a little bit traditional, a little bit quirky-sweet. The bride's ribbon and bouquet were originally pink; my mom repainted them with nailpolish to match my colors. :)
We didn't wind up having one at all. I looked high and low and couldn't find something I liked. The bakery wound up putting flowers on top (without consulting me, so the colors didn't match).
But if I had seen Miss Stiletto's cake topper before I got married, I would have swiped the idea!

I fell in love with the Ann Wood's and the Lauren Alane birds this week. I was not so in love with the price tags though.. Well, my mom is a fibers artist. I called her today and asked her if she can make me a pair. She has a lot of arthritis and has problems hand sewing these days but she was so excited to be involved she said she would. I'm super excited!! but I'm trying not to let it go to my head... I don't want to get my hopes up too high in case her hands fail her.
We are going to have a cake /dessert bar so I think I might actually do a few cake toppers for fun. FI didnt love the birds so I told him we can put a She-ra and a Voltron action figure on another cake. This is a little joke between us. When we had the discussion about whether or not I should change my last name after we get married he wasn't very happy. I Suggested we pick a new name (jokingly) so he suggested that I change my name to She-ra and he would be Voltron.. haha.. I laughed so hard I cried a little. He later dubbed my sister and brother in law buttercup (a powerpuff girl) and hello kitty.

we're not having a cake topper, mainly because i am not a fan of them. instead we are having flowers on the top tier.
I wanted to have the keepsake and I bought this one first which I liked alot but can't use since we have to have a small cake and it is about 10in tall by 7in wide. If anyone loves it let me know I'd be happy to give it away, someone should use it? It's hand carved wood.
PS: I only paid $20 why I don't care?
Oh I also considered this Fortune cookie from things remembered...again I want a keepsake and engraveable how perfect!
But I've picked something else....

I am a pretty traditional bride, so I wanted a cake topper that was classic and romantic...I found our porcelain topper online, and I love it!!!

nurseheather30! That is soo cute! I can't believe you got it from Target! Thats great! I love the quote on the bottom, it makes it more personalized (even though you didn't have it personalized!) How tall is it?
Here's my cake topper. It was just a trial run. I'll be adding orchids and small spray roses to fill up the gap. The top spray will be higher and spray out like a fountain.
msBlossom! Thats really pretty!! I kinda like the idea of just having flowers instead of a topper! It's less stress on deciding on which one to use!
TennisSMLS- I agree. I like flowers better and it seems to photograph really well.
We're using Kiff & Amy (from Futurama) action figures. We both love the show and they are the only characters that are married. We're quirky & untraditional like that! :D

OHHH, there are so many cute ones! I love the ones that can be used as decoration or momentos afterward. I was planning on putting mine with the sand ceremony but I still have to find it first.

TennisSML5- Thanks, I'm sure you're getting tired of seeing my pics all the time, lol. I'm a visual person so I enjoy seeing photos over just text. I like to try to post pics for all the other visual folks like me.
Sigh. The one I want probably won't happen, because my parents are afraid of freaking out our guests. My fiance and I LOVE it though, so we're going to get it anyway. IF we end up not using it as our actual cake topper at the wedding we decided we'll save it and use it on our one year anniversary.

When I saw these by Lauren Alane, I fell in love. They're perfect for us because we are a quirky music-loving couple :) The only difference is ours will be baby blue instead of red and a flower instead of the bow.
