My FH thought thought colored shoes were craqzy too. But we're having a peacock-inspired wedding and I am trying to find some awesome blue shoes...
I am!! My shoes are green (don't have a pic, gotta do that) but here is the photo that started my obsession with colored shoes. This is from Summer 2008.

i havent found my shoes yet, but i would love to find some with peacock feathers. our wedding theme is peacock.
I actually bought both ivory and purple (in this same shoe) thinking I can wear the traditional to the church and then the fun for pictures! I love the idea of colored shoes, but my mom would just die! here were the shoes that made me want purple:

I need blue shoes for my wedding! After seeing pictures everywhere of colored shoes, there is no way I'd go plain jane white/ivory. But that's just me. i like a pop of surprising color.

@EAQ That was my exact same colored shoe inspiration photo! And it's pretty OLD! I found that while I was planning...
I actually opted to wear my hot pink shoes with a black dress for my Rehearsal Dinner. Ended up with a diamond white wedding gown and it just didn't compliment the hot pink the way a stark white would have...
I haven't picked mine out yet but I'm going with red. I would actually love some Tiffany blue shoes but I think I'll have better luck finding red.

I love the idea of colored shoes, but lately I've been thinking that ivory or light gold could be just as great since so many ppl are doing bright colors lately

I had planned on wearing ivory shoes with my cocktail-length dress, until I found these while on vacation in Australia:
Now I think I want to be a colored shoe bride! I'm having a hard time convincing my FI that colored shoes will look good (He's seen my dress and had input on accessories etc so far) so I was hoping you all had some colored shoe inspiration that I could show him! Any color is fine, I want to see your color inspiration pics!
