Until last week, my excuse was that the Wii wasn’t set up (so I couldn’t do Wii Fit or Wii Boxing).
Now that it is, I think I have a pretty good one:
It’s in our basement, which has a 7′ dropped ceiling. When I do the Wii fit exercises, I whack my hands on the ceiling. Lame excuse, yeah, but it’s been working all week.
I’m so lazy. Are you better than me, or do you have your own lame excuses?

My excuse lately…. too many wedding things to do at night. It’s lame, and I should totally be working out more. I did work out yesterday though, and had dance practice tonight and Tuesday so I guess I’ve had physical activity 3 days in a row now! That’s like a record for me lately.

"I don’t have time!"
It’s a pretty good excuse becuase we only have one week to go and I have to move out of my apartment by Tuesday!
Mrs. Yorkie was so sweet to send me the 30-day Shred vid, which I did only once. It’s only 20 minutes long, but I almost passed out after I did it and I haven’t been brave enough to try again.
*hangs head in shame*

Finding the time is the toughest for me. I need to get up EARLY to get in a workout before work — and if I don’t, nine times out of ten I don’t go in the evening. So, Mr. Bruschetta and I try to inspire each other to get up.
Also, if I skip the gym, I go for a 45-minute walk outside during lunch — something’s better than nothing!

Oh I am fabulous at finding reasons not to work out… my current one is that we are/were moving and so I had to pack up all my workout DVDs. Of course when they were sitting out in my living room for the months before that I had to come up with different excuses.

It’s way too hot!!! We don’t have air conditioning and I would pass out if I started working out in my sauna, oops, I mean living room! 😉
I just found some classes at a rec center that are reasonably priced and don’t require a membership, so I’m going to do that for the summer. I haven’t worked out since a week before the wedding! Yikes.

Ha ha. Love this. Currently, I am still continuing my fat and happy honeymoon phase. As of Tuesday it will be 30 days since my last workout. I told myslef I’ll hit the gym then.

It probably doesnt help that my dress is a liiiitle bit loose as it is (even though i ordered it down a size).
i keep telling myself i can just maintain for the wedding, but must lose for the honeymoon (next year).

I worked out 5 days a week before we got married in December, but since I moved in with him, I canceled my gym membership because it was too far away. I hate starting at a new gym, so I keep putting it off. I definetly got my "newlywed nine."

My excuse is that it’s SO COLD at night here!!! BRRR!!!
we try to go running after work, but it’s pitch-black at 6pm – not very encouraging.
Sometimes it’s so cold, my muscles tense up. Then there might be an "injury" and we’ll have to skip the run… 😉
We’re doing pretty good about keeping on track with the marathon training program, but sometimes all we want to do is watch TV and eat pizza. and then some icecream. It feels so good.

I am too tired. I have to make dinner. All my socks are dirty. I’m on my period. There’s always tomorrow. But my favorite show is on! I have to work on my invitations. I haven’t shaved my legs in a while and I’ll be too hot if I can’t wear my shorts. I have to study.
I have a lot of them
I just picked up the 30 Days to Shred DVD earlier this week. Jillian is kicking my butt and I deserve it with all the excuses I have been making the last few months.

I try to get up early and work out, but I just am not a morning workout person and instead I take a nap on the couch 😀
I’m too worn out to do it at night though!
