I like to think of myself as crafty and creative, but I simply know NOTHING about sewing.  I mean, I had to get my husband to sew a button on my sweater the other day.  I'm pretty clueless when it comes to all things sewing.

So what's your DIY/crafting weakness?  Or are you a Martha Stewart clone who is good at everything?

I am DIY-challenged, 100%.  But, I am a good delegator : )  My mom and aunt are very good DIYers and I am basically helping them with all the projects.  I am really impatient when it comes to crafting.

The one wedding sewing project I'm doing is the chuppah (wedding canopy).  Even on that, I sometimes think that after several decades of not sewing, starting with a project that requires 9-foot seams may not have been the smartest idea!  I would definitely not try to sew gowns or anything for which more precision is required.

My FI is doing all the projects that require artistic ability (e.g., designing invitations and programs), because she's got much more visual sense than I do.

On the other hand, I'm great with those things that involve imagining creative ways to do things like lighting, linens, food service, etc.  The only vendors involved with our reception are someone to buy, serve, and clean up after food; the musician; and the venue rental.

I love paper crafting.  But I am the worst at cutting and drawing in straight lines.  If I did not have a fiskars paper slicer and a ruler within an arms length when I craft, I would be in huge trouble!

Like Jessie516, I have absolutely no skill with sewing (or knitting, or anything fabric related for that matter).  But I do love paper crafts!
